You can create a slider on a GUI and in the script for the slide set the walking speed of the  character to the value of the slider. This would mean that when the slider is dragged the walking speed is changed (once the slider is release)

I cant look up the commands right now but try searching for
'GetSliderValue' and 'Player Variables'

eeeeep

stop the CS spellings NOW...

anyway, Indy used traced photographs where as MI used painted (then traced) background (iirc) so you cant do them in paint :P if you have a little dig around www.barnettcollege.com there is a tutorial for doing indy type backgrounds.

but I cant justify spending money on a game based on 1992 technology, no matter how good it is.

thats the statement that I think is giving you alot of hassle, to me that sounds like 'OMFG, ITS NOT BRAND NEW TECH!!! NOT WASTING MY MONEY!'

Which Im sure you dont mean..... right?

character[XXX].room = Y

XXX = the characters script name.
Y = room number (just make it -1)

Every time I restart I have to go through a ritual of CTRL-ALT-DEL ing several processes that do bad things, and quick before they really take hold.Ã,  There's one that makes it impossible to CTRL-ALT-DEL if I wait too long.Ã,  So I just leave it on all the time.Ã,  Got 6 fans, if one went bad I wouldn't be too bad off. ;)

You could just turn off these items in the start-up section of windows (run msconfig on most versions).

I wont repeat what has been said a zillion times in this thread already, other than to agree that dell are poo.

Just a quick clean up - added black rim underhat to make it look more shaded, made background white to show this and to make it easier for you to import (you will have to change the background colour first, but it looks stupid on pink(the colour I always use) :)), tried to fix the eyes.

Dont bother about giving me credit.

btw, if you do want to use evilhat I can clean him up a little, I have time now.

or, in the case of my last PC case, make the fans melt
#977
My PC is 31 atm, and that is the hottest it gets, and it only has 2 airflow fans (plus CPU fan and PSU fan) AGA told me that you dont have to worry untill it is above 60. you should check your fans aren't faulty if you have more fans than this, that could explain the higher temperature and the smell. Also, if wiring short circuits it smokes and stinks of burning (happened to me a VERY short while ago).
#978
did you look in the manual under 'ASCII codes'

to host an RPG do you know how much bandwidth you would need? Even more for these low colour, but still colour pictures, also you cant make it commercial unless it was GOOD, and it would cost a small fortune in bandwidth cost.
#980
but why you would want all 4 god only knowsÃ,  ;D

Nah, 4 is ok, but the control and gameplay is a bit poo.
