General Discussion / Re: London Subway
Thu 07/07/2005 13:51:16
I've been to London last Friday and I used the tube ...

"It is particularly barbaric this has happened on a day when people are meeting to try to help the problems of poverty in Africa and the long term problems of climate change and the environment.
"Just as it's reasonably clear this is a series of terrorist attacks, it's also reasonably clear, that it is designed and meant to coincide with the G8."

if this is true it's just sick.

I'll take part, unless the topic is a completely stupid one ...

Hi.
I have a problem with this game, hope you can help me. I've found everything for the Moonshine, but i can't find Malt. Where or how can I find it?

Spoiler
You need to destill the beer (which you've got from the barman)

I am "releasing" the website for "Night of Fire" (releasing in inverted commas because it's already online for a few days)

It's not a webdesign masterpiece, only a banner and a white background (white stands for innocence and virginity and this project is still very young :p). So far there are only three screenshots and some information, but it is too early to show much more. Yesterday the feedback section had still a few bugs, but meanwhile it should work...

Wow, the things on here are so great that it scares me off posting my own entry  :o
but I still have a few hours ;)

Could it be that there's a bug at the end? I try to use the lantern/lantern with coal with the cauldron but Pib always says "I don't want to bugger it up" etc

Spoiler
Glass can be cut with a diamond. Now if you know what a diamond is made of, maybe you have some item you can turn into a diamond...

Critics' Lounge / Re: Forty shades of green

Ok, I think I first have to draw the other rooms of this area and choose then.
Basically it's a friendly, beautiful island with nice inhabitants. There's only one annoying man who lives in this house and has put up the signs ... but the colour shouldn't change too much between his room and the other rooms.

My vote goes to ProgZmax. His picture just looks the best if looked trough my eyes.

Am I, as the starter of the thread, allowed to vote? If yes, my vote goes to ProgZmax as well.

Hum... I really won't be able to finish my entry.Ã,  :'( Crap!
EXTEND THE DEADLINE OR I WILL POISON EVERYONES FOOD!!! *ahem* Excuse me. :P
Basically I have no problem with extending the deadline... How long do you think you'll need? Is Sunday ok or do you need a few more days?

I had a look at the site. The adaption of the Drawing room looks nice, but could you add the next screenshots in their normal size? Because the small pictures don't show very much details.

Critics' Lounge / Forty shades of green

This is a background that is made to be used in the game I'm working on. It's not ready yet, but at the moment, I just want to hear some opinions about the grass.

The original version:

but then I thought that the green is maybe a little too bright and colourful and therefore I made two alternate versions:

2.

3.

Which one do you think is the most suitable? Of course none of these three versions has to be the final one, I also can make something in between two shades. But which one gets closest to a "good" meadow?

No more entries? Come on, tomorrow's the deadline  8)

The clouds in the third bg look very Apprentice-ish ;)

I think you should make the wizards hut a little smaller and less impressive. And, if you have textures in the grass, the path, the roof and the door, the walls should get some texture as well ...
