Really you can do whatever you want, no one will really stop you.

If you make a big fuss about the game and post it everywhere and email the creator you'll draw attention to yourself, just stay low key and make what you want to make.

If you're really really worried about lawyers, search the ags gen forum and there's a thread [or two] that talks about it somewhere in there...

But really, don't worry about it and just have fun doing whatever you want to do.

Unless it's a sequel to Grim Fandango.

Someone posted a while ago some tutorials on using the sims 2 programs to make characters and then some posing program or something to pose them.

People use FPS engines to make scenes too, half life and Unreal pop into mind at the moment [Pleurburgh 2 was using Unreal levels as backgrounds before Chrille went all "I want to go to school and further my life!" on us]

I think it bodes fine for Sam and Max, they'll get feedback on Bone and apply it to their next game.

I think the "problem" [which isn't really] is that they made this game so it could work on very minimum spec computers to appeal to a broader audience of non gamers and fans of the comic.

The main thing I'm interested in is play time, if it's 2 hours worth of play time and they have say 5 episodes that's 10 hours of game play for 100 dollars [at 20 dollars each]

That, my friend, was a very amazing game.

Rats off to you! And I can't wait for the next installment.

The subtle joke with Forenso and the hole was one of the best jokes I've seen all year.

You should travel back in time and join their QA team and as soon as you're hired just blurt it out. They'll think you're a QA genious and bow to you as if a god.

awkwardly enough I have all the toys I've ever had from my childhood, it's all in the attic and basement at my parent's house.

Matchbox cars? Check.

Nintendo, Commodore, Sega, PC games and all of their boxes and instruction manuals? Check.

Power Glove? Hanging on my wall in the living room.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Army Ants and M.U.S.C.L.E Men and M.A.S.K. and Constructs? Check!

Police Academy action figures? Check, SADLY!

Of all the toys out there that I don't have that I totally want it would have to be Soundwave from Transformers.

He is and always will be the coolest of the cool.

not everyone visits Pixelation?

I just have to say... Why not finish your first game before starting another?

I'm not really an example setter on that issue but it seems like a better deal.

I don't quite know what you're talking about LJUBI, but you more than likely have it all wrong and are interpreting Netmonkey's post incorrectly. He's not saying that it's a good thing the plane crashed.
