This is where we ask for help.

Or look at people's avatars and look for people who do music

Just so people know, Pete is gone for the week, so questions will be answered then.

And Squinky, Pete already has a mummy in her closet, she's the monster squaddiest person here!

Yes, has been thought of, Sylpher made one, very very short called Dead Quest or something like that

There is nothing stopping you from doing it but you'd have much more control over the animation and there would be much more you could do with a much smaller file size if you used something like Flash.

quite a typo, I must say

http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Sounds/Free_MIDIs/

try looking there maybe.

Or as was said, use the search function on these forums. Search for Free Midis or something, mods gave out a bunch of free music a while ago, look for those.

It's almost like they had deadlines to meet and had their programmer whip up some characters for the game.Ã,

I do seem to remember Roger looking different from this in the SQ6 demo, if that means anything.

Sorry Fuzz, just wishful thinking.

I feel that new image you just posted is 100x better than the other images, it's cute and interesting

and with that style you can easily make a 256 colour game since the edges are hard and not anti-aliased

What program are you using to make these?

It's just a joke calm down...

LGM, it's not fair to attack someone for their computer purchase... Especially when they are obviously of lower intelligence that they didn't know they were buying a crappy computer... Ok?

Spoiler
yes jokes... I personally would like a mac port because that just means more games and everyone loves those

You could just colour reduce to all 4 different dithering patterns in photoshop and then cut it up and stick the best looking parts together and see if you saved more colours...
#1872
That image is way too big.. scale it down.
#1873
and besides, out of hundereds of users there are only like 5 who are openly against JA+, it is in no way an AGSer thing.

Yea, I've seen this site, he's also in the eboy book:

http://eboy.com/eboy

I want it all! 1 huge book full colour glossy pages all of pixel art... mmm

And I'd like to say that I love Doug TenNaple and am jealous of him. While Creature Tech has it's faults it is a great great comic and oh so beautiful...

Also, I'm not in college so I have no spring break.. But I also have no official job so I've been on spring break for about a year now, WOOT!

Stuh, don't you think you're being a little awkward when you describe the entire process it takes to make a 3d scene and models and textures and physics [for some reason] and then just say "Whip up a few paintings?"
#1877
I don't know how much you know about 3d but you still have to be a good artist.

Also, you still have to have a lot of free time or a large company or an animation set up to make a good 2d game that looks halfway decent. 3d and 2d are practically the same when it comes to making art for them.

Sure, animating a 3d character might be the tiniest bit easier but it is in no way super easy.

The lure of 3d for me isn't that objects looks good or anything, it's that there are things you can do in 3d that can't be done in 2d [no matter what DG says].

Well, I was wrong, Alkis was rude in another forum.

And really, I only read 2 posts from ANOTHER forum that are him being awkward. What is wrong with this:

"And by the way, whoever finishes the game, please take some time to vote in the AGS site (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk)"

HAHAH! OH MAN! He wants people to vote for his game!! Wow! What a... Wait that's lots of people on here...

Anyway, I personally don't see a reason to post more, like vel asked. This isn't the purpose of the agsforums to dig things up on people and drag their name through the mud. If you feel he ruined his own reputation then fine, leave it at that and move on. Now it's time for his second chance.

I don't think they opted not to have Matthew Broderick again, I think he refused to do it...

CJ, there is the german ags forum:

http://www.adventure-treff.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=270573d2689f59f54e0a2f42b2cbf650

maybe if the german help shows that forum as a priority over these forums?
