This is really awesome Clarvalon and I can't wait to see where this ends up in the future. It's quite exciting.

Anyway, that's the impression I got of the project as a whole.  That it became more of a community of people hanging out rather than a group dedicated to finishing a game.

As I understand it a hurdle to getting at the sea on Europa is the kilometer of ice we'd need to dig through.

Calin, if fossils are found on Mars I will be happy.

If living life is found on Mars and it can be proven to not have been contamination from the probe, I will do back flips.

If living life is found on Mars and it does not have DNA I will flip the fuck out.

It may seem weird but I will feel like that is enough for me. Like, I'm not afraid of dying because of hell or because then I will be nothing, I just want to know things. I want to know how things turn out. If we can find even simple life on another planet I will feel like that's good enough to die with. If that makes any sense?

Then again, if we can go to a planet and find a fish like being say in Europa, I will probably explode upon seeing the picture. My guts would just PAINT the walls of my room.

If I suggested to him that he go see a psychic because the migraines might be ghosts haunting her brain, is that worthy advice? Say they take the advice, give hundreds of dollars to have a person who claims to be a psychic to shake some herbs or whatever and say that it's a ghost from Atlantis haunting her brain and in order to heal it she has to come back for repeated treatments. This offers her relief for some reason or another.

Is this alright by you?

Psychics have been around for a long long time, probably longer than pressure point theories.

Thousands of people consult psychics every day.

All tests of psychic powers have proven false. Comparing to reflexology that just means we don't know how it works yet but it still works because people say it works.

Psychics don't usually cause bodily harm. So I guess it's still ok.

There are people who have been convicted as frauds and just out to take your money, so that means they just have to find a PROPER psychic, not a charlatan. No problem there then.

Sure, reflexology and doesn't bore holes in the head and as you say "cause harm" but it doesn't cause harm because it does nothing to the body. The harm it does is waste someone's money and time and open the door to other pseudo sciences that could get someone killed.

Anyway I wasn't meaning to equate what you're doing with rape I was making a point that your rational is flawed in that it can support anything. Forgive my strong emotions.

I think humans have a pretty good idea how to test the scientific method so I'm sure they can come up with plenty of tests to test reflexology. If one is made that is peer reviewed and shows positive results I will change my opinion.

Yeah the word is probably confused with sever headache with some people. My friend at work gets migraines and he explains the black and white vision, the halos around things, his vision disappearing into static like an old TV can't find a symbol. All while his head is trying to explode. I'd had severe headaches but that has never happened... And it never will!

Hey man, sorry about your friend, I can't even imagine what a migraine is like. I hope I never experience one. However what you speak of sounds like Reflexology. Beware, it is a pseudoscience and false. So to answer your question, no it is not true. Sorry!

I propose people on both sides try and calm down a touch.

To all the Panel Members: Don't take it personally when someone removes their games. Let them do what they want and let it be. There are hundreds of games not removed after being rated, focus on those and pat yourselves on the back if you want. Also accept that you are in a community and people have the right in this community to criticize functions of it. If people are upset and you can't think of a way to calmly help, don't post. Especially because you are a involved in a function these forums and therefor a voice for them.

To all the others: The panel members aren't evil. They are members of this community and volunteered to do something that was established to try and help sort out the games database. It's awesome that you all are so passionate about this community that you even care about this subject. There are so many forums that are just dead dead dead because people don't have a passion for the community. The only thing I ask is to try and remain civil and not get personal. If someone is getting personal with you, try and ignore them.

To all everyone: I would recommend against telling each other to not talk about a certain topic because you are particularly sick of hearing about it. If you are sick of it, stay out of the thread.
