3. If you're not a moderator, don't pretend to be one. If a thread needs to be moved or locked, the moderators will deal with it.

please stop ghostface

http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=5.0

check out this board Poop, play a game and then offer criticsm on it, the creator will be very glad you did.

or if you want to beta test, then offer your service in the ACR thread at the top of this current board, or look in the games in production board for people needing beta testers.

check your profile Poop, there is a section for adding little [wonderfully drawn] icons to your profile

this one means you are willing to playtest, so in every post you make that little icon will popup like a billboard advertising that you would like to help

yea stick her in there somewhere and she'll be cool with it

This is well known yes...

Hey Mods, let's pop in and see what's up! Hehe...

It's what they want to do but I just don't see the point personally, why make a fan sequel to a game that had no loose ends to grab onto?

The problem with doing a paint over is that it will usually always be recognizable as the character you're trying to paint over

sorry to say but this will always be the Indy sprite, we've seen it so much we can tell no matter how much you change the colours.

if you can live with that then it's fine, the bright cheeks don't really do much for it, what's the purpose of that?

instead of using black and white go with a more greyed up or browned up white. so it doesn't smack you in the eyeballs for being so bright. The same with the black, absolute black on his jacket may not be the best idea but who knows, could work better than the white.

Mr Flibble, again... There's no problem with posting something that isn't finished. Where are you getting this from?

Yea I'm whiny thanks... I just thought we were having a discussion, you say something I say something you ask questions I ask questions... Ya know?

But again whatever... 3 years and we haven't found Osama [you think we're still looking for him, quotes from the president show that we aren't really.] the US government botched the hell out of Iraq and you think the only reason we asked for help was a show of good faith a kinda "Hey, you want in on this?"

Yea I bet all these countries are totally heartbroken that we didn't ask them to help us out in a war... Man, I feel real bad, we should send cookies or something to them.

So tell me this, if we only asked them to be polite how come when France declined to help there was this big hoopla about them being assholes and such? That makes no sense if all we were doing was asking them out of good faith, we should have just been like "Ok, you got it!"

I still care also, Panda, but there's no reason for me to go posting in AGSforums about it. That's all.

Also, the US not being popular around here? We just had a mittens here and no one said "In the US?! But they did such and such!" The US is a very big part of current news and it gets talked about alot. Though I don't feel any big Anti-US sentiment from these forums.

As for peace in the 1990's, what about Kosovo and the Oklahoma City Bombing and Waco and Columbine. Rose coloured glasses and all, or you just didn't know at the time that there was stuff happening [or didn't care, I mean I was a teenager for most of it, if it didn't involve me making sweet on the ladies then why should I care?]  but now that you're older you can see the scary stuff going on around you. I dunno, I'm sleepy from staring at this screen.

These are not fighting words.

I don't think people forgot about it, there's just nothing new to report really. It's been 3 years and we've had a thread about it each year except this one. I figure there's nothing left to say.

I could go on about how the Republicans used it as a publicity stunt at the convention, and that it's been 3 years and Osama still isn't caught, that nothing has been done to protect us really, that first responders still don't have the funding they need, that the Bush Admininstration uses the terror alert like a toy to scare people into not caring about bad press which in turn makes people desensitized to it and when it really HAS to go up for a legitimate reason no one will pay attention.

But there's no point in going into all that, we'll have a big arguement thread and nothing will get resolved and my questions will get ignored and then we'll stop.

It's a horribly tragic thing that happened and it sucks so hard that it did. All the remembering in the world won't help the families of the victims so there's no reason to feel bad.

I say deal with it in your own personal way and then cheer up on monday cause that's my birthday [so people! stop PMing me wishing me a happy birthday! It's the 13th!]

I'm sorry, I don't understand what's going on here.

Someone started asking a guy at a booth some questions about Sierra? Did the question asker have an appointment or something, was it a real interview? Did the booth guy know he was going to be interviewed? Did he ask if he could interview him? Or was this some kinda ambush?

And remo, I think the guy was joking, the "what's with all the questions" bit makes me think that this guy didn't know he was being interviewed.

Also the "Why did you shut down Sierra." is like "YOU personally, why did YOU shut down Sierra?" I mean he's just a guy, what answer do you expect? He's there to promote the games not defend a decision I DOUBT he had any say in

So I'm confused

I suggest

http://hans.presto.tripod.com/nibs/est_card_580.jpg

something like that, they're pretty cheap and they work really well. That is if you want to get a look that's all nice and varied like this

http://www.sylpher.com/kafka/images/art/sketches/images/scientist.jpg

or you can try a brush but they are more expensive and die faster.

Ink I use is Winsor Newton black, it has shellac in it that makes it waterproof and durable but it also makes it uber permanent. If you use a brush the shellac is what destroys the bristles little by little but you're all good if you use a metal nib.

Also, don't ink your originals if you don't want to ruin them, trace them onto another sheet of paper with a light box or put them up against a window in the day time and do a quick tracing and then ink the trace.

Well, what are you inking with?

On the computer or with pen and ink?

I've never been able to get the hang of inking on the computer when the resolution is huger than huge.

If it's a small image I can do it lickity split.

In real life with pen and ink it's much easier but you don't get control z so it can be more frustrating. It's just practice practice practice really.

I've tried inking in flash and it always comes out shaky to so I stopped, or I optimize the line and then tweak it but that is just too many steps that are necessary.

I've seen tutorials where people ink in illustrator drawing lines and then tweaking their bezier points to get the line variations and it just seems so pointless to me. You'll spend 10 minutes tweaking a line on the side of the arm when it would take 2 seconds with a pen and ink or a brush and ink... People be crazy!

You are using flash right? or some sort of vector program.
