Monkey is fine, but I think having a name that doesn't mean anything in particular is best. That way you don't need to have seperate email addresses for when you communicate with real people.

I had to assure someone that my email address mrcolossal@...com was not a porn reference. She started to say it "Ok, we have you on record as being signed up for such and such a service under the username Mr. Col...o..ss......... SILENCE"

If you get an error you should explain the error exactly and write it out word for word.

I think if you consider the game done and aren't going to work on it anymore to go ahead and post it in the completed games forum.

If you consider it a demo and will maybe work on it more later, go ahead and stick it in the completed games forum.

If you consider it a teaser to the rest of a game you have planned, make a games in production thread and continue working on the game so people will play the teaser and eventually you'll finish the whole game.

Also, you can post questions like this in AGS talk and chit chat and this forum.

Welcome to AGS and hooray for your first game, no matter what the length.

I just want to say that I wanted to play this game before the RON admins went crazy and decided that they were the morality police. I would hate for this game to be popular not because it's a good game but because of the controversy.

I also want to second blueskirt's suggestion and ask that anyone who disagrees with what the RON admins are doing, asks to have their game pulled from the RON website. Dave Gilbert, Grundislav, Creed Malay... I am going to have my demo and all images I drew removed from the website and I ask that you do the same.

One of the coolest astronomy related images I've seen is this:

LINK

That's Saturn as seen by the Cassini space probe. Cassini was about 1.3 million miles from Saturn when this picture was taken. 1.3 MILLION MILES.

And it was about about BILLION miles from earth. Where is earth in that picture? On the left hand side of Saturn, above the ring about a half an inch away is a small white pixel. That's Earth. That's amazing.

I don't think I changed your words in the slightest..

Why are you picking on Daniel? Then you just go ahead and publicly insult him for his listed age. Real mature.

I've not directed a movie in my life, I've acted in things my brother and I did for fun growing up and I've never written a script for a film. I am 27 years old.

Star Wars 1 - 3 are shitty films and George Lucas appears to be an idiot lately, what with not having anything to offer the world but crap and bad decisions.

Sadly some of this bled into the new Indy movie.

One doesn't have to be a director to have an opinion on a movie.

The whole point to eternal life was as long as you didn't cross the seal. They crossed the seal and became mortal again. Ilsa fell down a hole and Old Crusader dude got smooshed by some rocks. Everybody wins!

and, depending on how you play your cards with AGA, four... what else do you need?

Probably several strong drinks would be a start.

DONE!

I tried the demo and it was packed to the tits with style and a very slick presentation. When I saw my 3d character in the 2d scenes I was shocked that they even bothered!

The humor in the narrator was great and it was pretty looking but I don't know if the game play is compelling enough to keep me playing. I also was really ready to start playing in their world, with the 20s feel and the dark setting and then... A fruit fucking robot. Felt too much like cramming a popular character into the game. Oh well, I wish them major luck because I'm a fan of the production values and I hope they can help prove if episodic gaming is a good idea or not.
