And I can guarantee you there are tons of people who don't like the KQ remakes and the great thing about that is that it doesn't matter. Tierra or whatever they're called now can do whatever they want because they want to do it. So do what you want and be happy.

I think it needs a bit of work.

Since it's a stick man I can't tell if he's spinning or what so it looks like he awkwardly slashes the saber around in the air.

I think your time would be better spent learning to animate through a series of drawings and not pushing vector points around to try and get a good looking animation.

I don't know what you're planning to do with MoHo and a fully drawn character but if you plan on having him spin or take up any other position that can't be reached through the normal bone manipulation of MoHo you're going to have to draw it anyway.

This animation is a good start but I don't think MoHo is a good way to go for an action such as light saber deuling.

i have a plug in for 3d studio max called Tree Maker

but yak's may be better let's see, hmm it's kinda weird and i don't quite understand it but you may like it

here's what i was able to do with the plugin, this is with everything pretty much on the lowest setting:

my camp is the plan, upstate new york

i love the sand background and to comment on the backgrounds next to each other

the inside of the space ship has outlines around everything while the sand background doesn't have any outlines, i say get rid of the outlines in the spaceship background and you'll be set

Lucasarts games being more linear? How are they more linear than old Sierra games?

Maniac Mansion had many different endings before FOA and the end result wasn't always different. Sure the game ended but that's the same for FOA.

I think Sierra games handled death quite well in some respects. If you walked your character off the side of a cliff you will die. Granted the other deaths like "Woops surprise you're dead!" were annoying but as far as I can recall the majority of deaths were from obvious instances. If you delay too long in Space Quest defeating an enemy it will kill you. If you cast a spell wrong in King's Quest it will kill you.

There may not have been the write amount of interactivity in adventure games in the past but now it can be added. AGS is a powerful bitch and if you can do something new and fresh and clever with your deaths then go for it. Just let the player know please
