it's obvious, someone shot you in the eyes and made holes in the sunglasses...

now who could shoot someone in the eye with such good accuracy?

maybe David Darko?

i'd probably wonder where all the computers went and be sad for all the people in planes that crashed and cars that crashed and trains that crashed and dams that busted and patients in hospitals that died and pacemakers that stopped and nuclear power plants that exploded

stupid aliens taking away the technology we stole from them!

i think it's a little short sighted to say that ripping off the music label doesn't hurt the artist

how does the label decide if the artist is worth keeping around? popularity through socially conscious P2P users or album sales?

and as far as shareware being killed... when quake came out it was like... Ho-Lee-Shit look at this this is amazing... [i choose quake cause i never played doom shareware] and i'm sure they were super jazzed about it to [they being id] and also coming from doom's success they released the entire first chapter as a demo that's a big demo! i played it for days! now-a-days and i'm just talking randomly at 5.30 am here, the games don't really have that wow factor. Quake was a big leap for FPS games and they had a lot to show off, what do we have now? a few little leaps here and there. basically make a demo showing off a little leap and some cleavage and then just expect the name of the game and the hype to sell the first round of games.

id could have sold that demo as shareware easily and made a mint. i wonder why they didn't, it was like 60 megs or something and the internet was pretty slow back then that not as many people would have stolen it... curious

i remember buying Sango Fighter shareware and playing it a bit and hating it. it was terrible but it was also very very short. you could choose one fighter and fight one round for 30 seconds. that's it. compared to the amount of play time you got from dukenukem or doom it was like shutup!

what i mean by that is that all shareware wasn't good either, just like all demos that come out now aren't good. The demo for Impossible Creatures was pretty big, like 4 missions and the tutorial. the demo for Splinter Cell, very sweet. The demo for Curse of Monkey Island, got me psyched.

and what i mean by this is, i prefer free demos because nowadays they are super assed short. but then again lots of shareware was also super assed short.

so how do we fix this problem?

idunno it'd almost 6 go away

eric apologizes for this posts awkwardness

buy Animator's Survival Kit if you're serious  by Richard Williams

get a light box or a peice of white plastic, design the character on a seperate sheet so you know what it looks like front and side and back

then do a stick figure animation and then build that stick figure up using shapes, like if his head is circular use a circle, or if it's a square with a triangle sticking out of the middle, do that

then start filling in details on all the drawings or get a new a peice of paper and with the lightbox put the roughs down and then draw a clean pencil drawing over that

then ink it with a pen, not a ball point unless that's a look your going for, a thin marker and then erase the lines

imporant things to need, a peg board which is a peice of metal or plastic or wood with 2 pegs sticking out that you put paper with holes punched in. the holes keep each peice of paper steady so that each image will always line up no matter what.

ability and desire to draw a lot lot lot

lightbox helps SO and is probably the most essential thing ever ever

the desire to draw a lot

but get a book on it and the one i mentioned is the best i've seen so far

also, the continue:

the matrix had some stupid car chases and some awkward explosions [cars don't explode that easily i don't care if it's an SUV or not] BUT

Jackie Chan makes a movie and beats up all of China with a ladder and 3 refridgerators and then climbs a wall without using his hands and no one cares because that is the universe his movies exist in.

the universe that the matrix exists in i liked better in the first one, the CG wasn't as horrible or numerous and the fight scenes had more of a purpose

there, that's what i wanted to say

that and seriously... why can't the agenst shoot a damned gun?! comeone one of them was 5 feet away from trinity traveling the same speed as her while she was completely exposed on a motorcycle and he missed every every time?

anyway, Matrix Pizza is pretty damned cute

i like the first

for some reason i see it having more life than the other

dydo, on your third point, the guy is a little hefty so i think his neck is fine

the second animation i guess isn't a wedgie because he feels no pain and the pants unbutton themselves

it's more of a visual gag i see, the main character probably insults or makes fun of someone elses clothing and then the game shows us what he is wearing and he feels embarassed

am i close?

also with the walk anim, it looks like the arm farthest from us is always in front of him, cause we never see it appear behind his body, am i alone on this?

The Matrix is just for certain people, not for everyone... For people that like to pick apart every little detail in a film just for the sake of being cynical bastards, and the people that don't want to put any effort into trying to understand something in a film,  don't like these films..

BAH! trying to ignore the foolishness i suggest you stop being so sensitive about a movie you like. people like movies people hate movies, you come to this realization at the end of this post, no need to generalize

tell me how i am cynical cause i'm asking questions about a movie?

QuotePeople that watch films because they liked to be entertained and people that like to watch something different than Hollywood cookie-cutter garbage

ok, this is also silly. matrix and matrix 2 are not Russian Ark or George Washington or Storytelling or Kandahar [ugh] or anything like that. you tell me how matrix1 and 2 are so different from XXX or James Bond and i will personally fellate you for an hour and a half.

Quote((I blame that on stupid copy-cats of Bullet Time))

also, there was "bullet time" years before matrix, it was even in a music video and done with polaroids

QuoteAnd they also could've done without the damn franchising with Powerade and shit.. But I'm guessing Warner's lawyers made them do it.) Nontheless, I like the Matrix films, and I always will..

who was forcing anyone to liscence? i haven't seen the wachowski brothers [who don't even own the matrix anymore] crying foul of it anywhere. if they could have liscenced matrix 1 they would have. every holywood movie is filled with ads ads ads and as many independent movie is filled with as many ads as they can get their hands on cause it pays for the movie's cost.

QuoteSome people will hate/dislike the movies, and always will.. This is how the world works my friends...

and there we go, some people hate movies, some people love movies and some people like a movie but have problems with it. nothing wrong with that. it's people who are extremes on both ends that are the problems, at least for me.

bah whatever

and for anyone who cares

there's a matrix massively multiplayer game coming out soon and it takes place after the 3rd movie...

and guess what... the matrix is still around and there's still evil to combat...

how curious

"Surley they would help if they could only be started my mods, and only put in the competions/activities forum."

no way, how many polls can we endure where Mods starts one about how we have to guess how big his penis is or where we have to guess how many times a given length of string would wrap around his penis or we'd have to vote on who would like to see his penis

how could they be usefull? how often do people need to know the anonymous results of a poll here?

on critics lounge? not really, i think things are doing alright without them

in competitions? i don't really see the need for it, if you have a thread that needs to be voted on, just handle it in the thread

and seriously, since we already know which AGSer already has the sexiest backside... what else is there to poll?

if it was recently scummy i didn't save it

i haven't been saving images for about a year now

sorry, it holds a certain amount of images and that's it they get deleted

unless someone wants to buy the 100 dollar registered version, but i don't think it's that important

hehe squinky, back in the day everything was turned into a ninja or a penis so things have only slightly changed
#3839
