This isn't the forum to ask for people to make art for you...

however why don't you post a background and we'll offer help as to how you can unify the styles?

Well, a bit of an obscure and weird title there. But anyway, pre-marital sex is wrong according to Christian beliefs. Oui, moi est Christian!!

Did you even read the thread or are you just responding to a thread title? Married people can get HPV too!

How about you just go make a game... Stop posting so much and do something with all your energy. Constantly posting lists of shows or movies that you'd like to see be made into a game has gotten old.

I suppose it's tragic but more melodramatic

Ok, if him saying there isn't any medical literature that supports all the claims of these binaural beats practitioners isn't good enough then go on searching for the answer. This is as far as I go to try and debunk this. I look forward to any literature you dig up!

Also, it's a logical fallacy to believe that because someone doesn't charge for something than there must be something to the claim. Also I don't have to explain people who say they have positive experiences. I don't have to explain anything, they have to prove that it works. A stack of legitimate positive experiences doesn't prove anything, sorry. One can't just use anecdotal evidence to prove a claim.

I recommend listening to this podcast, start around minute 11 and he talks about binaural beats. The man who talks the most is a brain doctor.

Next time you try one of these CDs, have someone put one in without you knowing which one it is and then tell me what your reaction to it is. If your reaction matches up with the CD's intended reaction I'd be quite surprised.

I recommend using placeholder art and getting the game programmed. At least program as many of the features you plan to add. Then you'll know what is and isn't needed exactly. For a game that requires completely new code I feel that as an artist I would never start making art until the various features are at least functioning.

I don't think this is really the place for these comics... at least not directly showing the images.

I think the P3N1S award should be for "white elephant" games. Those that promise so much, and fail spectacularly.

I vote that award gets named The SCRAMM award.

also, andail:

"And whether you like it or not; going commercial with a game is to open a can of worms. A free game is a gift to your peers, but a game with a price tag is not a gift anymore, it's a part of a deal, and people will question that deal, evaluate it, tear it apart to see what's in it. "

Thank you so much, that is a perfect rebuttal to people who moan "Why do commercial games get different treatment!" and I will use it every chance I get.

This reminds me of a post I read on another forum:

Also, someone once sent me a picture of themselves. She was extremely self deprectating about her appearance and she said that if I wanted to use her appearance for something that she wouldn't mind because she had such an unusual face that she'd like to see someone use her as a model for something beautiful... Or something like that.

She wasn't ugly at all really, just had very very sharp cheekbones... I never did anything with her face, perhaps I should draw her into a comic someday. I don't have the image anymore but I still remember her face because of the out of the blue and odd email.

Lead by example, Akatosh?

Make a parody and start the trend.
#696
Those are all equally valid and popular methods.

There's really no right way to do this so just do it and post to the crit lounge and ask for help if this is your first time.

If you think drawing it on paper and scanning it will help you make a sprite, give it a shot. If you think you can just pixel it from scratch, go ahead. Whatever works for you.

I disagree

Much easier to read.

I personally think, and I usually always suggest this to people who are starting to make comics, just make more.

Just keep making more and eventually you'll figure some stuff out on your own and the characters will become more than just things that talk. So then when you go to write a new comic you'll know how the characters will react to a situation and the comic will come easier.

Just keep making them, more and more and more. It's practice that will only help even if they fail. Lord knows I have enough failed comics lying around. The first few strips of the majority of comics are usually crap compared to the stuff they do now.

"You're so lazy! Did you pay the bills?!" "Get off my back, I'm a kind of free spirit wacky character! I play playstation or something!" "Oh I hate you so much!"

This is pretty much what a bunch of webcomics start off as and then become something more eventually, so... Continue, please.

Mods, yes I know about it, I was going to try and offer better art but work really ate my time.
