he he Dimitry...  ;D

I agree... Moresco has a problem, not just  for animating objects, but also for making the walk-behinds.

BTW, I keep my opinion that it´s a supperb oil-style bg (instead the problems to make it workeeh...)

Shit... I´ve seen your post telling me silly (or the AGSers, no matter...) and an extremely offensive reply blew to my mind.

And then I saw the smiley, that saved you, for the moment, arrrrr!

;)

It is a perfect example of what can be done in a two colours style, amazing, I must say that I really love that, my favourite Tintín comics were the early ones, which were coloured after, you can see how Hergé used the ink for creating that wonderful comics...

I love the pumpkin, though.

I really like the background. Is it curious because your style really reminds me to Proskrito, another Spanish member of the community.

I think it has lack of deails, for example, the "rodapié" (Skirting-boards, in English) need shaping for pretending an 3-d effects, the beds are too squared, and I should add a sight to the window (I always use the windows for adding details) :).

But that background is very close IMO to a totally perfect, workable room.

Keep in the good work! :)

Sounds interesting... but this is not the correct forum, maybe that´s because you´re not receiving replies... People just don´t open the thread. Post it in the correct forum, please  :).

This is a fucking aritmetric problem...

Barcik, Rebel, Bob and Darth think that:

Total number of dead people with war<Total number of dead people without war.

Andail, DG, Butcher and  LasNaranjas think that:

Total number of dead people with war>Total number of dead people without war.

I really agree with Barcik, Rebel, Bob... Let´s remember that Saddam had a family behind him, a son ready to rule the country after his dead. Not only that... there was a whole average size town (Tikrit) with family ties with Saddam, a whole town with people ready to rule the country with iron fist after Saddam.

So, let´s suposse:

How many lives will the war cost?... how, 50,000 deaths (Let´s exagerate, no problem...)

It was proved that in Saddam´s prisons more than 5,000 people died every year. So, in 10 years, 50,000 lives. At year 2014 the war will start "saving lives".

Would Saddam´s regime last more than 10 years? Of course, let´s face it... It was a regime with enough power to least at least during the next 50 years (That Qusay and his brother were quite young...)

All the rest... WMD´s, Al Quaeda... That is not so important. The war is saving lives, in my opinion.

So... I won´t reply any statements about anything else which is not related with my aritmetric formule. I can´t try to convince people that war is "good" in some way. But I really believe that.

Spain was under a fascist regime during 40 years... I would liked that in 1960 EUA came to finish with that Franco.

Well, at least I´ve come to one MITTENS and I have a little right to talk. Benidorm is also a good point because it is quite near of some countries with lots of AGSers, if you don´t beleive me, take a look the AGS world map.

And also... How can you be so dare, you 14-posts-in-six-months-man, for critisicising to my post? Post your own candidature...

Eeer... don´t read that... I just telling that the way to decide the next location of Mittens must be done in some way like the Olympics... I am just giving an opinion. ;D

3 nude beaches in the vicinity. The Sexy Barbara show is also very known by brits. She is the girl who puts a light bulb in her... eeeer... In the... well...

She has a show with a light bulb.

Vargtass who? ;D

Ok... welcome back... If Sirthaki is what you like, you could have had a better time in Mittens just demanding Helm to dance for us... I really like to learn to dance like that, since one of my favourite beatles´ song has a movement of Sirthaki (Girl)...

Did you put on that strange greek huts to dance that Sirthaki?
#4314
Yes Vargtass, the original plan was to have 10,000 AGSers in 2012, then make a gathering, and infect them all with a virus, which they will spread... When all the world population would be dead, Chris Jones and me will exit from a bunker and rule the Earth...

Eeer... What a coincidence....
#4315
Yes... I supposed that deciding where Mittens gonna be in 2 years time is a lot, but I decided to have the "pole position"  ;D.

BTW, I´ll prepare a dossier to show my candidature in Mittens 2004.

MITTENS 2005 BENIDORM CANDIDATURE

Ok… AGSers agree that MITTENS 2004 will be in North America. The next logical step could be to organize MITTENS in Australia, but… is that practical? Let´s remind that Australia is far away from ALL (except for aussies, hehe…)

Let´s face it… We won´t meet LasNaranjas if he doesn´t come here (At least till the very special 10th edition of Mittens, when we will gather all the AGSers, the 10,000 of us, in the year 2012)

So, what can we do? Come back to the place where Mittens was breed? To the UK? No! We (you) can go (come) to Benidorm!

Benidorm has a lot of things. A whole British town where the brits can drink beer till their stomachs explode! A place where their jokes will be understood, a place where they could buy their nice t-shirts (Help, I´m lost and I can´t find my beer!)

Not all the MITENNERS are brits, but, as the English is recognised as the Universal language, Greeks, Swedish and Polish guys won´t probably have problems with such a British atmosphere.

Well… What could we do when the sun shines? Well, Benidorm has more then 10 kms of beaches, two theme parks and a Water park, a wax museum, a medieval dinner show…

A nice town with more of 400,000 (340,000 of them tourists) people to chat and have fun with! With a nearby airport, direct flights from Stanstead.

P.S. That is not Spam! Don´t kill me!

* Farlander thumb up

Perfect! But, hey... I had a fight before because people with finished games started to preassure people with games in production. I am like you a person with a game in production, I am not a "finished game Agser" ;).

But if you want to finish one... follow my advise  :)

#4319
Yes... that new bg is definitely and advance in the good direction. I am glad to see that you´re aiming your efforts in only one direction. Look, I don´t want to tell nobody what must them do, but I can give advises. When I start the art on my game, I´ve written the history in a "more or less" novel style, I´ve made the storyline and I´ve imagined the dialogs. Then I start with the conceptual art, I don´t mind wasting paper... The style must fit.

IMO, working first doing some paintings for hoping them to bring some kind of inspiration is bad. You could may link some backgrounds with others, some concepts, some puzzles... but the overall concept will surelly fail in some point, the whole game will be spoiled.

Wow, what a threat about game producing, I hope it won´t be pretencious coming from a person who hasn´t finished his game, but wait, it is in heavily production and, if it works... I will probably make a "producing" tutorial.

I think it is time to give to you a little advise... Concentrate in one game if you want to finish something. I´ve read your reply to Squinky´s thread, you´re in 4 or 5 projects in one time, one with a cartoony style, other in 3-d, other in flash... I am member of the community for allmost a year and I am having severall problems for finishing my first game, and I´m totally concentrated on it, I can´t imagine you, jumping from one painting program to the other, from a storyline doc to a 3-d modelling program.

So, you get this... A background with, what...10 colours? Maybe it´s a problem with flash, I don´t know how that program works, but the background has lack of deepness (correct word? misspelled?) the tree forest is "fusioned" with the flag, the grass needs more shading, the clowds look so plain...

You can improve it a lot with good shading and colouring...

Add details. Why don´t you add a link, one of that funny cars that golf players use, some police tapes for making clear that there has been a crime there? You can also add the club building...

C´mon, take a seat, relax,  and think in what you´re doing, so you´ll keep the good work. If you carry on starting new projects every week, dividing your creative efforts by 5 or 6, you won´t get a maravellous game, but just 5 or 6 crappy ones.
