Most people put stuff like that IN the dialog.

Check yout the Runscript commeand in the dialogs section of the manual on how to call script commands from within a dialog.

I think it rocks!! but only criticism would be that green light shading on shirt - on his back. keep the shading on his front..tone down shading on back.

I'd make a GUI with a buttons and a text box and do a function like this...

function Death (int ButtonGraphic, string DeathText) {
Change gui button image to ButtonGraphic
Change Gui Textboxtext to DeathText
}

then call function death in your script simply by calling...
Death(67,"A rock fell on your head!");

You could add buttons on your gui like restore and Quit too...

I am a proffesional Web Developer, I used to work for a really cool company called Domino Systems until they had a little *tax* problem and I got made redundant. Bah evil fools.

I am now between jobs, but do a lot of freelance work for companies like blackwells publishing and the like. So I also do webpage design aswell and in the coming month even have been asked for some consultancy work, so the future looks good aswell.

I want to know what Mr innocent punaman imports/exports...

Why thankyou, ^_^ , Im glad everyone like the page, I know I'll be waiting for the next issue from Vel...

now I wonder if I can get an advanced preview , hehehe

Hey thanks,

I think I may have improved that interface thing already, and yeah that was just a test room so I had stuff to click on with my GUI :) That room doesnt appear in game as the graphics for that room were not good enough for me :)

Sci-fi / Comedy / Love Story / Adventure / Comedy / Action Game are the best i think.

Well I dont want to give the story away at the moment, but its going to be a Sci-fi / Comedy / Love Story / Adventure / Comedy / Action Game.

I'm doing nearly all the work (coding/gfx/direction), I have a person doing the Sfx & In-game music, and another person helping out with witty dialogs so we can cramp as much comedy in it as possible, from what we have down on paper it will please you all.

Hey all!

Many of you will know I have a game in progress yet have not posted here yet, I probably wont be online much over the next week or so, but the game development won't stop.

Remember to keep a watchfull eye on the game progress as it will be updated with many a screenshot. You can see the demo interface I am working with here although it has been greatly improved since that upload.

C&C posted here on anything would be cool, aswell as praise ^_^ and questions.

You can also leave messages on my guestbook on my site (index page).

At the end of the month a demo will hopefully be released to get your anticipation levels higher and to get an idea of what you can expect.

Couldnt you run another AGS game from within it if thier brief commercial was coded in AGS too... just a quick thought.
#114
Don't zip up your game directory , simply the files in the Gamedir/Compiled/ directory.
#115
Actually I can really picture that being a portal if its a hugely oversized microwave, kinda a charchter walks along has to press buttons then heaves door shut, you see a coundown then ZAP!

:D

I agree even though that is kinda normal banner size , its an awful lot of black space , if u wanted it that size then at least centre animation.

well if this is truley not broken and there is no hotspot missing or interaction that unfortuantly will never be triggered, then this puzzle is WAY TOO DAMN HARD! I have tried everything, and I'm pretty sure I am on the right track- I emailed you with as far as I got, if the part after this should be simple then maybe you should check, otherwise O_O man is that secret a toughie.
