Ahh , this a ron game :)

Yes i like the bee with the yellow point at the bottom, on a proper background it will look better , i used to use pinks as my background colour , however chnaged it to a aqua-blue type , works better for me.

I would of thought the easiest way to animate some smoke if just by getting the stack of straw and animating it , use a white/light grey colour with a low opacity , then use a bit of smudging too , tak e a look at my avatar <--

I belive theese are the same commands, in an older version the command was InterfaceOn/InterfaceOff , then in a more updated version these got changed to GUIon/GUIoff , however CJ seldom removes old commands to allow games made with previous version to be compatable.

So either way is fine , though in the current version of AGS i woulf of though GUIon/GUIoff is A) Shorter to type , plus the GUI editor refers to everything as GUI's and not INTERFACES to avoid confusion.

You can also referto them by name so for example if you name your GUI 3 as MAINGUI you could do either:

Code: ags

GUIon(3);

or

GUIon(MAINGUI);

Great BG.

As suggested not so much a pristin road, maybe a road sign, more dead plant life or something... the background, the little things will all add up.

My friend it it real.

However it take work to create it as bueatiful as SQ6 & Broken sword, the highly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Fountain of youth is made with Ags,
once you take a look at miez backgrounds you will be blown away.

As for publishing, you mean selling your game, then yes it is possible although i am not sure who achieved it last year, I know there are a few games in production at the moment that intend just that.

Favorite:

Has to be out of DOTT or the MI series, Possibly The Ryming insult sword fighting in MI3, not only was it puzzle solving but great fun!

And in DOTT, possibly the hamster too, Time Puzzles in that game were very clever. But some like the hammer thing were purley luck for me, though

The Worst:

Ah the worst were probably the ones SO BLOODY STUPID i probably cheated on them. Lets see what would be the perfect candidate...

Full throttle, that part where you got to hit the right bit of the wall at the right time, OH MAN That got on my nerves, a case of you know what to do and how and when but takes you lots of times just to get the right set of pixels.

Ahh Oxford, UK ... in all its glory. not much it it , i live near that red dot, at least i think i do. you'd think i'd notice a big red dot hovering above my house, but no.

Nice fields though, don't know why some of them look blue though.

YEah actually I remember a scroll in full throttle , i belive it was a above view of the open road that achieved the effect perfectly, and it was just a larger static image, but when scrolled at the right resolution *appeared* to be rotating the camera, i tried it once myself , but the perspective is hard to get a handle on
