Looks nice Vel. The stool is definitely at a different angle. How goes the game?

Thought I'd give this art thing another go today -
Merry Christmas dear friends!

Igor, Im trying to get the voices done for Jungle Camp so I can finally release it. Its been hibernating too long in an almost finished state.

I cant find any information on this feature in the help documents..

Im guessing this will automatically add the speech numbers to all text file? Like -

convert -
ego: "Hi! How are you?"
to
ego: &10 "Hi! How are you?"

Is that correct?

What about hotspot descriptions, object descriptions, global text etc, how are they given audio? Or will they be included by this function too? From the documents it looks like only dialogues can be linked to speech files.

I want to add spoken voice to the dialogues/descriptions etc in the game. I have taken a translation speech dump text file. I will be recording these as audio files.

Whats the easiest/quickest way to incorporate these in the game? Since the wav files would have to be named as numbers for the game, I would have to listen to each one, see which one is which and add the respective number to the command in the game. That looks pretty tedious work.

Is there a simpler/more automatic way? Whats the best way to do this?

Hi Igor, great to see you as well! How goes Ignac 2? When's the long awaited release?
#27
Hey, hows the gold lagoon going? I got busy with music recordings. Still am. Cant wait to get back to drawing sometime.

Hey Dodge, long time! Glad to see you going strong, impressive work! Do you still come on CA chat?
#29
That looks more Simon the Sorceror style but I love it anyways.

Hey all,

Evil, sorry I didnt make anything after that so I dont have any tutorials :/

Ratty, that nudist camp game is ready, except for the end game cutscene I was not too happy with. In fact that game was finished within a month an a half of starting. I just havent touched it in a long time. I will play it through one of these days and see if it is ready for release. The God game also made good progress a couple months back, then stopped for a bit. I'll see if I can get the gang to git working on that again.

Andail, these daily artwork are all bunched up here. It was fun doing them but then I ran out of hours in a day -

Hey guys! Sorry for no updates and stuff. Its all SSH and Bspeers fault.. (well if I gotta blame someone it wont be me). The Day 1 (and consecutively a lot of other days as well since many scenes remain the same) backgrounds have been finished beautifully by Ali. Dorcan has done a lot of crafty scripting as well, including some snifty dialogue thingie and the two player interface. The wacky puzzles and plot were finalised by Bspeers and SSH. When it came to the dialogs and hotspots, these last two guys have taken a long break (hey wakey wakey). Ginny disappeared as well after a bit of contribution. I of course, had to do the characters and objects, but you all can see clearly I cant do that without the dialogs and hotspot descriptions, so there.

So here's a call out to SSH and Bspeers to git working or else God will be real angry with them. I am a lil too busy these days, but I will get the characters and objects done.

Amazing job! Love it!

Hey thanks guys!

N3T I dont now what it is myself. Just some brushstrokes!

Rincewind sorry bout the delay on the cover..

Remixor, its more difficult to draw accurate anatomy with the tablet than with a pen so I had to shift a bit..

Gemmalah, it was photoshop 6 and a wacom tablet - no real world paint!

12431 - sure will make more, just got a lot busier. I did do a tutorial for my mouse colored cartoons - hmm I cant find the link. I had posted it in the critic's lounge a couple months back. Anyone have the link?

Next time I'l take some snapshots in photoshop while painting so I can post them as tutoriasls maybe.

Heehee Igor, nothing so fancy! Just a lil break.

My monitor's callibration is wonky, so this might appear a lot darker than I painted it.

N3t, I just remembered the sketches you had asked for!! Had completely forgot bout them. Soon!

Good and affordable wacom - Graphire 2.  Expensive and better - Intuos 2 6x8. The still larger ones arent very useful IMO. There are cheaper and larger brands too, but they have batteries in the pen, wacom is the only one with batteryless pens. It also has more levels of sensitivity.

A bit too unsaturated now..

Evil - you're right, would have been more effective with her being closer to the water.

Redrum - sounds like my kind of movie!
