Love all the artwork! The first room gave me a nostalgic feel, sort of like an old world locked room. The new version spoiled that, but then i suppose the game is set in the current world.

The front view doesnt look the same person as the side view. I think the face shud be longer and the eyes set closer.

I love the first one, short pant legs and all! Raincoat version alo looks good, but doesnt have so much character (goofiness) but if you can have both versions (indoor and outdoor scenes) that will be great.

Very good except for the lens flare. Try converting the lens flare to black and white (in photoshop, after Effects>Lens Flare, go to Edit>Fade>Luminosity). It might fit better.

What if..

you have the hand you have here popup, and the next screen is a close up of only the watch. That way you'll give the impressin of someone bringing his hand up to look at the watch, and have a bigger screen for the interface/inventory.

I hate it when there's a separate icon for pick up and interact. One of these is always reduntant for any one object in a game. A single hand icon should work for both, since you can either pick up an object or interac with it, not both. Also right clicking to move thru icons seems tedious. Having save/load and statistics on the popup would also irritate me during gameplay when I keep clicking on those by mistake when all I need to do is examine/use something.
