Interesting observation Dr Laserschwert. Many a jaded scientists have failed to notice the tiny but hugely significant horizontal-flip-shadow effects of the white-blue-patch.

Hmm.. what are these blue patches appearing on my skin? Arrrrgh, its the blue patch disease!!

Another interesting fact about the blue patch is, when it changes to a white color on rare occassions it makes abstract objects like question marks over people's heads cast shadows.

The Blue Patch is the mysterious bermuda triangle of the AGS world. I predict many tales will be written about ships and planes and precious artwork disappearing down there in the future. All gaps and gaping errors in any piece of art henceforth will be referred to as 'blue patches' and the supreme ruler of the Earth Union will have the honorable title of 'Patchy Blue'. The 'blue patch' will replace the 'silver lining' as the most oft used color metaphor.

Thats very classy plasticman! backlighting using the moon was an excellent idea. Erwin's suggestionm is also very good.

I would have liked the house even crookeder to match the sinister tree. Sort of making the wall on the left go in on the bottom floor to make it look crookeder, and add a neck like to the spire. I'll try showing what I mean.

EDIT:
Here's the changes. Added an owl. windows, chimney smoke, clouds, twistied the house and cliff.

These are excellent Xadhoom! Makes me wonder why you opt for lo-res in your game.

Some things that look odd, nitpicky really -

- the nurse's right hand looks awkward, sort of disjointed at the elbow
- saw blade too short
- waist pack perspective looks a lil off
- cut-paste the cook's head forward and lower, for a really menacing look
- make his cigar shorter or wider
- love his stomach fold and arm muscles!

The wolf is of course perfect!

It looks really good and matches the look you are trying to achieve perfectly, but I do think most people would mistake her for a male at first. I suppose a side view might correct that. Im not sure what to change without changing the KD Lang look to make her look clearly female.. maybe the others have some idea.

This one's very sketchy, 20 minutes. And its based on a real person, she's a singer on my new music project. I drew her from memory afterwards, not much of a resemblance except the skirt and hair and setting.

N3T - innocent faces can seduce their kills better! Actually I was trying to decide wether to make it more evil, but it was a tough decision.

Xadhoom - you are right with the water thing. After finishing the body and arm I had a choice between drawing more of her bottom or less of her arm and blade, so I decided to pull a compromise and hope no one noticed! But you spotted it alright. Flippy the elbow would have had to be bent much more to allow it to stay out of water.

Boyd, yeah she's finished a 'job'. There's supposed to be blood on the blade.

Jimmy - I know. A tease works much better!

LGM - no fun in that..

Chik, Scummy, Golan - I always try and make the dangerous/adventurous women more muscular than normal women. An assassin would be working out regularly. I should have made the pelvis much wider.

And yeah the combined game idea would be wonderful! Dorcan and Ali are excellent artists and we are colloborating on the Creation God game project.

I see your point MrMasse!

Lasers, Flippy is exacty right. She's creating modern art, the excuse for anything (the same can be said of my art as well..)

I'll stick on my latest one here. She's supposed to be an assasin.

I love it!! Esp the colors on the left upper tree and house and well. You guys really know how to color! Only thing looking off is the skin color which is too similar to the path.

Beautiful job Ali!

Forgot to mention, I had thought it was a male at first. Still looks like one.

Its looking fantastic. The character is a lil sharper and more contrasted than the background, so you might have to change the contrast (and sharpness maybe) on either of those.
