Nice job Pessi, its certainly Calviny!

To actually see how Watterson turned into such a great artist you could follow his Calvin and Hobbes from the 1st strip, and you will see how years of drawing can improve someone!

Making a game commercial is pretty simple, there are a lot of CD duplicating and selling companies which only need you to send a master CD and they do all the work for you. They handle everything from credit card processing to individual distribution, both as downloads and as mailed CDs. You only need to market it.

From what I hear, independantly distributed commercial games sell around 200 or less copies in 6 months. Which would be considerably less audience than if it were released freeware. Fatman was made lo-res which IMO would have affected the sales quite a lot. Its good Ionas' next adventure is hi-res!

I havent seen T3, but you're right I miss those people drawings too. I am just trying to get used to using colors and the tablet. It is more difficult to do people with a tablet I think cos of the imprecise nature as compared to a real pen. Plus I think Flippy hypnotised me..

Lemme try and get back to my warmer ways -

Igor, when you said you dont want only a few people to play the game if you release the game commercially, I think you were wrong. Many more people play a commercial game than a freeware game (if released by a known company). Not that Im suggesting you release it commercially, only pointing out that fact.

The only thing against the game being a commercial release IMO is the length, as I remember there were supposed to be 17 rooms in the game, as opposed to 50-100+ locations expected in commercial games.

If nothing else, you could strike a deal with Adventurecompany to package your game along with their commercial releases for free (i.e. the buyers get it free along with games they purchase, and adventurecompany pays you something to buy that sort of rights).

On the other hand, I have nothing against getting to play a great game for free!

That reminds me of the song 'Five twin brothers standing gainst a Rainbow" that I never heard.

Im no help with the antialiasing though! Looks fine to me. Fighter could do with some street type stuff maybe, punk hairstyle, chains, bracelets, tee-shirt logo or something if he fights.

Trying for more saturated colors and sharper contrasts.

Flippy, Ive been meaning to play that game for a long time too.. I just bought Jack Orlando though, so it will be a while before I can switch games.

Evil, thanks! I think its the return of the black outlines that help the character stand out.

Mucho better. And still great looking.
