It's the newer model. The one that runs on trash. No plutonium needed.

The ad reads, "movie accurate Plutonium Reactor (Part I style) ".

The garbage fuel system was introduced in the end of Pt. 1, but if you look at the ad for the car, you'll notice it doesn't have that wierd, white, top-of-a-food-processor-looking bit that says "Mr. Fusion".

That's pretty cool, though.  If I had the money, I think I might actually buy it, straight away.

I thought it was, "Every time you masturbate, god kills a kitten"...

I read the title too fast to comprehend what it said.  For a minute there, I thought it had something to do with The Highlander.

I felt my son/daughter kick today!  :D

My girlfriend has been getting really big, and I decided to lay my head on her stomach, and the little bastard kicked me right in the face! <3  :)

Hyde: Is that your place (or did you just find those pics floating around the internet somewhere?)?

Meh.  I'm flattered, but no, that's not my place.  8) I got those pictures in an e-mail from a friend.

I guess some guy was renting the place, and he was very quiet and lived alone. He never complained or caused any problems, and was never late on his rent.  But when he moved out... holy crap, were the landlords left with a surprise, I tell you what.  I guess those pictures are NOTHING compared to what they found.  They said they had found "tunnels" leading to the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.

Back on topic:  $0.25 for a can of Mt. Dew?  It's like, $1.00 here.  Man, do I feel ripped off.  And when you turn the cans in, you only get around $0.40-0.50 per pound.  (A pound is usually a large garbage bag full.)

I would be more impressed if they were beer cans.

Though I think there's a new "Mountain Dew Red" (or something like that) that does have caffeine, and it's marketed as an energy drink.
We have something similar here in the U.S., it's called Mountain Dew: Code Red.  But's here, it's just plain old soda pop any way you look at it.  IMO it doesn't really do anything for me, I'll stick with the yellow.

There's actually a few different flavors of Dew here, they have the orange Mt. Dew Livewire, the purple Pitch Black, the energy drink MDX, and I think at one time they even had a blue Mt. Dew.  The only one of these I really cared for was the Pitch Black.

And for the last two years, I thought I had completely killed this thread with that stupid zombie story of mine.  ::)

(...just watch... I just killed it again...)

Understood.  ;)

Is that the one where you die seven days after you watch it?   :o

??? Les Paul = "The Black Arrow"?

When you first said the nickname, I kept thinking of a Flying V, but then I re-read and caught the Les Paul part...

Ok.  Now you are obligated to explain.

I've used Electronic Battle Weapon since the start of the forum transition from ezboard, and now it's Electronic Baffle Weapon in an attempt to... uh, baffle.

What's with your avatar?  It's kinda freaking me out.

Absolute coolness! I want it on a postcard.  ;D
Oh, but her hand doesn't look like a hand. :=

Yeah, it kinda looks like a camel toe.

I'm short on cash right now, too.  I'm selling a lot of stuff to earn a little extra bread, such as my games, action figures, comic books and cards, and stuff, but I would NEVER think of selling either one of my guitars.

I've had my black strat-style Lotus since I was 16.  My mom bought it for me at a garage sale for $30.  By now I'm sure it's worth even less, but to me it's invaluable.

I don't have $25, but I'd be willing to pitch in a few dollars... unless you guys will accept Visa...  :P

BTW: Don't feel bad, Squinky.  You're not cheesy for naming your guitars.  I do it too.  I named my Lotus "Linda", after my mom (obviously, because she bought it for me).  And I named my Ibanez "The Underdog", because the Ibanez that I originally wanted got sold before I could come up with the money for it.  So, I bought the only other Ibanez like it in the store.

Big Papa Poopchute is kinda hard to explain.   It was a nickname someone made up for my friend Matt.  I don't know what it means, or where it came from, but it's still kinda funny.

That only depends on who you play against.

General Discussion / C++: Where do I start?
Sat 15/04/2006 00:24:41
I used to think that coding was easy, because the only programming language that I know is AGS code.  I'm finding out now that C++ is not quite as simple.  I look at it, and I don't even know where to start.  I don't even quite understand what half of these commands do.

I used Borland C++ Builder 5, and I made a small text editor from a tutorial.  But my primary interest is, obviously, making games.  Preferably 2D, I just don't have the capacity to take on learning 3D and C++ at the same time... and 3D is over rated, anyway.

I looked on Amazon.com for some books for beginners... ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS.  According to most of the reviews for most of the books on the site, there aren't too many books that are for people who know next to nothing about coding.  Can anybody recommend a book?  Something that doesn't assume I already have a background in C++, or that I'm a friggin' math whiz.

Was looking through pictures.  Thought I'd share a few:

Our cat.  He's completely obsessed with the bathtub for some reason.

Aww... isn't he just precious?

Ok, enough of the damn cat.  Here's me:

It's catnip.  No, really!...

Watchin some tube.

Don't you love it when people try to take your picture, but you just are not in the mood?!

General Discussion / Setting default programs.
Mon 03/04/2006 07:48:22
I recently installed Paintshop Pro on my computer, then I recently uninstalled it.  All bitmap files were set to automatically open with PSP (not by my choice) when I first installed it.  Now that PSP is gone, when I try to open a BMP file, the computer still tries to open it in PSP.

What I would like to do is set the default image editing program as MS Paint.

I've searched google, and didn't find anything helpful.  I've tried to use some of it's advice to changing keys in the directory, but I don't really know a whole lot about the directory.  Most of the advice I found was for Windows XP, my system is Windows 98 (SE?).

So, how do I go about doing this?
#260
I knew it was a joke.  I could tell by a lot of the content on the main page.

I might have been fooled for a minute or two, but then I realized what day it was.
