Is that the one where two zombies are talking and every punchline is "BRAINS!!!"?

No, I don't think that's it.Ã,  The zombies in the comic weren't those kind of zombies, just your typical flesh-eaters.

I also forgot to mention in my last post that I don't remember the name of it either... I keep thinking "Zombie Hunter", but I'm not sure... maybe I should google it.

If I remember correctly, it was about a detective who suddenly took up a job in seeking out and killing zombies.

I hate it when I have a long-term brain fart.

EDIT:Ã,  Yeh, I'm a tard.Ã,  It was Zombie Hunter.  I also found this in my search.

Nice artwork.  I love watercolors.

Unfortunately, the only web comic I ever got into was this one with zombies in it.  Double whammy, I lost the url for it.

I don't really mind the people Yuf is referring to.  I figure either they will wise up and stick around, or they will disappear and never be heard from again.  The people who really want to be accepted and recognized in a positive way usually come around sooner or later.

Exclude Hardcore, Emocore, Grindcore and nu-metal from this topic please...

Come on... what's with the labeling?Ã,  Sheesh.Ã,  ::)

Sorry, it just bugs me the way people feel the need to pick this stuff apart and classify it, instead of just listening to the music for what it's worth.

I love metal (as if you couldn't tell by my Dimebag Darrell avatar).Ã,  I like the more mainstream acts, like Pantera (my fave), and some of Pantera's offspring (Damage Plan and Down), Spineshank, Mushroomhead, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Lamb Of God.Ã,  But, on the other hand, I really enjoy a lot of the more non-mainstream bands, like In Flames, Hypocrisy, Brand New Sin, Children Of Bodom, Shadows Fall, Chimara, etc.

Zombies, sure... AGS, barely...

I'm gonna pass, give it to Eric.Ã,  He's got the book, and he's actually finished a game.

It's nice. Ã, The hand-drawing gives it personality.

But the only thing I think could be improved on is the sand. Ã, The way the light shines off of it kind of reminds me of how the sun shines off of snow... er, yellow snow...

Anyhoo. Ã, Very nice work, never-the-less.

ADDED: GarageGothic explains what I was trying to say much better.

Hmmm... that story sounds awfully familiar...

Yeah, it's a bit cliche.  *Hyde blushes

You won't sell games with good gameplay.

You are right, but there is just something so awfully wrong with that.

[false TV commercial]"Hey, kids!  Go out and buy Poo Slingers 3D Turbo!  It has no storyline, plot, or point in being to speak of, and frankly the controller scheme sucks, but you should still buy it anyway because it's got awesome 3D graphics!"[/false TV commercial]

Do you see what I mean?

Heh.Ã,  Actually, while I was reading that, all I could think about was William Shatner on Star Trek.

There's nothing wrong with 2D.  Actually, what's the difference?  Do you play games because they look cool with all their polygon whatnots and doodads?  Or do you play them because the story is good, and it keeps you intrigued?  2D can be just as quality (if not better sometimes) than 3D.

I think another reason why 3D isn't a good idea for this engine, is not only because it would take a massive overhaul of the engine, but because adventure games are traditionally 2 dimensional point and click games.  (There are some exceptions, like "The Longest Journey" which sported 3D characters, and 3D rendered backgrounds.)  But anyway, keeping it 2D is probably best because it would stay true to tradition.

I'm sorry, Gal.Ã,  I only read your post, I don't always click through all of the links posted, though.

I don't know why Homepage Of The Dead doesn't feature it, though...

After a quick look for "google maps neverland ranch" on google...

I want to go see it so bad, but I can't seem to find a date, or someone to go with me (all my friends think my obsession with zombies is stupid, and apparently girls do too).  It looks to be a good flic.  I've been waiting for this one for so long.  I'm not even sure if any of the theaters around here will be showing it; they didn't have either of the Resident Evil movies, and they didn't have the Dawn of the Dead remake.  I guess I'll have to wait and see, but I really frown on the thought of having to wait for this one to come out on DVD.  It's also a sad thought, to me, that this could be the LAST Dead movie.  I say Romero should just keep making them (a new one every 10-20 years) until he dies, just to keep guys like me happy, because their just aren't enough new zombie flics coming out.

I also have some Romero-related news, a little off-topic, but George Romero and Tom Savini have been involved in making a game for the Xbox, PS2, and PC called "City Of The Dead".  It's a first-person shooter, and it takes place in a city full of zombies (hence the title).  I don't know if it ties in with the movies (I'm assuming it must in some way).  I first read about it in some game magazine, I still have it at home.  Some of the weapons are a little unrealistic, like a "void-bomb" (it sucks all of the zombies within it's range into a black hole and then explodes).  Here's a link: http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/the-living-dead-george-romero-project/618416p1.html  If you want to find out more, there are more sites, just go to google and type in "Romero City of the Dead Savini"...etc.

...The big white spot in the middle of the map?
#394
Hmm... that's funny.  I typed in "Area 51", and my browser froze up...  ¬_¬ ... coincidence?...

Here's me.  Crappy resolution close-up, and I can't zoom any closer than 4 notches from the top.  http://maps.google.com/maps?q=sydney&ll=-27.335529,153.043107&spn=0.014999,0.021329=k&hl=en

That "X" in the center is the airport, and that's somewhat close to my apartment building, and I'm guessing that line running from the top left is Highway 45, so somewhere between those two. :p  That small body of water to the left of the town is the Embarass River (if I was that river, I'd be embarassed too).

Crap... too bad I don't have my POD unit yet, or the internet at home.  Because, let me tell you, sitting with a mic in front of your amp is NOT the way to go.

Even though i'm not a very big fan of rap, this game sounds like a cool idea.  It looks like it could be fun.

Dude, I SOOO do not remember that pic ever being taken, I must have come to school stoned that day.

Hey, this isn't Poison!

What did you do with the other two songs you had posted?  And where's MMMBop?

Like everyone else said, the spoken word part is good, but the singing part needs a little emotion, it's too monotone.
#399
Looks good to me.  Kind of robotic, but it's quality.

Umm... You could start by posting your game in the "Completed Games Forum".  I suppose that would be a start.

You could also make some banners and post them in your signature.

Maybe, if your game is good enough, people will host your game and recommend it to others...

As far as making money, I know nothing about that... I'm just a janitor.

Later,
