Mr. Hyde, I have a real life...

I never meant to insinuate that you don't have a real life, hence, when I said, "...and I'm not calling you a computer nerd..."

Jannar,

I've never talked to you much, but I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving.

You shouldn't be afraid to post your opinion, because no matter what you say, there's always going to be a nay-sayer in the crowd who's going to try and tell you you're wrong.  And if you offend them with something you say, what are they going to do?  Piss and moan about it?  Photoshop your face onto a picture of a monkey's ass and post it?  It's all about the spoken word here.  Sticks and stones, my friend.

As for being immature; I really wouldn't worry about it.  We all have our childish streaks.

Lastly; (IMO) you really don't need to try and fit in here... half these people on here you may never even meet in your lifetime, and the majority of them are one the other side of the planet from you.  Sometimes this forum does feel a little bit like high school (either you're part of the in-crowd, or you're the sad, lonely sucker who sits by himself at lunch), but really... so what?  (...and I'm not calling you a computer geek, or anything...) But if you want acceptance, turn off the computer and go out to a party or something with your real friends.

Anyway, if you're going, take care.  Stop in and say "Hello" sometime.

In order, since I joined (I don't think I forgot any...):

I think I'm going to leave Darrell up there for a while.

James.  The same middle name as my dad.

...You're serious?

Oh well, I guess it's got better benefits than just being a plain, old-fashioned slut. :\

That's great, Petey!

I'm not sure how different Finland's military training procedures are from the U.S.'s, but yeah, the first while is kind of tough.Ã,  You have to get used to getting up at 5 or 6 am, doing P.T., getting yelled at by two drill seargants at the same time for a minor mistake, being ordered around (don't let the drill seargants scare you; if you get in trouble, the worst they can do is make you do P.T., or make you clean the head), etc.Ã,  During the first month or two, you may wonder from time to time, "what did I get myself into?"Ã,  But yeah, you will eventually get used to it, and it won't be so bad anymore.

So, take care.Ã,  Make sure your bunk is made properly, keep your footlocker locked, don't talk back, and whatever you do... don't mack on any of the females in basic training with you... unless you like doing a lot of P.T..

I'm sure you'll be fine, though.Ã,  Godspeed!

What is your M.O.S. (job/specialty) going to be?

Eric Feurstein ryhmes with "Sex Machine"

Coincidence? I think not!

Of course.Ã,  I can't imagine that he's called "Mr. Colossal" for nothing.

...k, I got nothin'.

Wow.  Those are some nice graphics.  I might have to be looking forward to this one.
#491
Lookin' good.  I like the screenies.

There's nothing wrong with MSPaint.  I use it for everything, because it's the only tool I'm comfortable with.

I do, however, wish it had some better features, like free rotate, or the ability to save and load palettes like the Paint that comes with Windows 3.1.

Lookin' good, Darth.  I like the new sprites, especially.

Weee! *Hyde falls off a cliff*

Glad to hear you're coming home in one piece, my man.  So, what's next for you?  A long vacation, I suppose?

Cool.  I'm looking forward to it.

I kinda liked Minority Report.  A.I. made me depressed.

Hmm... I haven't really been paying attention to what's all been in development...

I have been looking forward to Gold Lagoon, Leightor's Edge, Trailing Blood (what ever happened with this game, anyway?), and a few others I can't quite remember.

*Hyde checks the "In Development" forum*

Rich is working on a Quantum Leap game?

Edit:  I got to beta test the first chapter of a game called Wolf Country a while back, but that was the last time I ever heard from Aussie.  I'd like to know what's up with that game.

:o Hey now, I take that as an insult. :(  I use MSPaint for all of my graphics, and I don't think they're all that bad.  Like my banner in my sig for instance, I think I did a pretty good job on that, if I may say so myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong (please!) but can't you select (and save) pallettes in M$Paint?

Paint that comes in Windows 3.11 can save palettes, but I doubt anyone here still has Windows 95.  :P
