I liked the first song.  It kinda reminded me of some of the music for Final Fantasy 7.

That's crazy stuff.  I do beleive that we aren't the only intelligent beings in the universe, but I agree with Farlander, it's probably just another space probe of ours.

What ever happened with that "face" on Mars?  did anyone ever find it, or figure out what it was?  Has anyone ever seen it again since that satellite picked it up a few decades ago?

If we ever do make first contact, the first thing I'm doing is making the aliens take this probe outta my butt... it's giving me hemmoroids like mad.

In my Yahoo! e-mail account I've been getting a lot of suspicious looking shit... every day I receive about 8 or 9 e-mails with no subject, and no return address.  I opened one to see what was in it, and there wasn't even anything in it.  Despite that fact, these e-mails are all about 500 kb in size.  I don't know who's sending them to me I just delete them, and since there's no return address, I can't block them.

But... I haven't been able to log into my Yahoo! account in about 3 weeks now.  Every time I try to log in, it says "Temporary Problem Accessing your account.  The problem has been logged and we are working to restore your access.".... I doubt that has anything to do with those e-mails, but it is starting to piss me off.

Just tossing in my two-cents.

I like the concept; really, the first step to making a great game is to write a great story (but that's only my opinion).

I'll check back later, because I'd really like to see some graphics.

I guess if you need any help with anything (art, scripting...) I'd be willing to try and help you out a little.  Just drop me a line, or something, and I'll see what I can do for you.

I'd actually like to see The Passion of Christ (just for shitz 'n giggles).  But Honestly, I don't what all of the hub-bub is about that movie... religion is a bad thing to bring up... EVER.  Somebody has ALWAYS done something wrong when it comes to an interpretation of anything having to do with the holy bible.

I actually own the original on VHS,  I can't really say it's extremely great though... 28 Days Later kind of reminded me of it.

I've seen the commercials for the movie several times... aside from getting my panties wet, it also kind of confused me... the commercial said "Everett, Wisconsin... population 3458 7", and I was like "Hell, yeah!"... I would love nothing more than to see some town in this shithole state to get ravaged by zombies.  But in actuality, I guess it was shot somewhere in Canada... Ontario?  Oh well, false hopes, I guess.

There's usually a poster of some type you can pick up at Wal-mart or K-mart that shows a few different chord structures you can use.  I have one, myself.

Other than that, if you just want some tablature (tablature is the word you seem to be looking for: tablature: a lazy man's sheet music.) you can go to http://www.mxtabs.org. You can find pretty much any song you can think of there.

I'm psyched!  But I'm probably going to have to go see it by myself.  I can't take my girlfriend (she'll talk during the entire movie... she doesn't want to see it anyway...), and I don't have any friends that are as psyched as me or would want to go see it.

I decided to give my site a name change and a new look, so I was wondering what people think of the new name and the title.  The look of the site will reflect the way the title looks.

Here's a few title banners I drew up (the first one's not entirely finished...)

1. Like I said, the first one isn't finished... I was going to add a two-sided statue where the purple box is (one half an angel, the other half a devil).  Then I was going to do some funny effects with the letters (like have the statue blend in with the letters with vines wrapping around the letters and such...)

2.  I kinda like this one the most... I'm thinking of going with this one... but I just wanted an outside opinon first.

3.  This will probably end up being in my sig when the site is finished, no matter what.  If I go with no. 2, then I'll probably modify the letters so they look similar (even though I think it looks good the way it is).

I just wanted to know what you all thought about the title (Jekyll/Hyde Productions?... sounds kinda plain doesn't it?).  And what you might do differently with the titles?

Any thoughts?

EDIT: If anyone knows of any cool fonts I could try, let me know... I would like to find the font that I used for my South Of Heaven banner (below)... I know the site I got it from, (I think it's acid fonts.com or something) and the font is called Drakon, but every time I download it, it won't show up in the fonts when I try to use it in wordpad or MSWorks.

I just bought Mushroomhead's new album, XIII, and Damage Plan.

I can't say I was too pleased with Damage Plan... Pantera is my favorite band, and I was pissed when I heard that they broke up (...or went on hiatus, or whatever...) I thought Damage Plan was going to be a new breath of fresh air, but in my opinion it didn't even match up to Pantera.

Mushroomhead's new album is ok... there's some good stuff on that one.  "Sun Doesn't Rise" is the one that sticks out the most, and there's another one (I think it's track 11) that is somewhat depressing, but I can't help but listen to it anyway.  At the end of the CD, there's a hidden track, it's a cover of one of Seal's songs... I can't think of the name for the life of me...  When I was in high school, I took choir for about 2 years, and I always used to practice by singing along to Seal, so I enjoyed that song too.

I bought a gamecube about a week ago.  I've been mostly sitting around playing the Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil Zero.

I have to work 7 to midnight tonight.

I need to get my tires changed because my tread depth is 3/32.

When is spring finally going to get here?  About a week ago, it started getting warmer and all the snow was melting.  Then we got dumped on about a foot and a half... last night it was pretty warm too, so all that crap started melting.  Then this morning we got a dusting of snow (not a whole lot), but now the wind is blowing so hard that the dusting of snow we got is just blowing all over the place.  I heard a lot of people in Appleton went in the ditch because of slick roads.

I miss my girlfriend... :'(  I haven't seen her in about a month because of my new job and all...  her birthday is monday and I have to go pick up her present, but I can't drive in shit like this...

This is a sweet game.  The isometricism (is this a word?) really gives it a uniquely magnificent flavor.  Great job on this!

No offense, Migs... but the whole thing about the game being isometric was figured out when Darth started promoting the game.  Isometric is at an angle (some of the graphics are isometric, but in when it all comes down to it, the game appears to be planometric.

I don't know... just throwing in my two cents...

Anyways, I just downloaded the game and I'm about to try it out...

I found a  few bugs...

For one, you can get the keycard out of the jeep more than once.

Two, I've had some problems with text sticking on screen after they should have faded out (namely in the rocket ship... moving the pointer over the ladder, and when the ship is about to explode) I don't know if this is something you can fix, but I had a hard time reading the sequence where Cosmo is talking to JP afterwards.  The text stayed on screen even through the credits.

Lastly, once you teleport to the moon base, if you click on anything in any mode except for walk, the walkview will stick as the view where he's teleporting (you know, with the little lens flares all around him, etc).

I don't know if these are things you can fix, but just little minor details like that.

...Then again... my computer itself has a few bugs... so it could just be me.

Rincewind: heh, yeah... I might make a few little Romero references throughout the game, whether I do it on purpose or accident.  Did you hear about the new Dawn of the Dead remake that's coming out?  It's coming out in theaters here in a few weeks.  I'm psyched!

I just bought a gamecube and I've been playing the remake of the original Resident Evil... they've got a lot of cool ideas in that game that I wish I had thought of earlier... Like burning the zombies after you kill them the first time, so that they don't come back a second time even stronger.

I guess what I've been unconsciously trying to do with this game is throw in little bits and pieces of all my favorite zombie flicks and games.  So like I said in the very first post in this thread, it's a Resident Evil clone of sorts, plus you've got the title screen that I swiped from Day of the Dead... but I can't give away all the little secrets... you'll just have to wait and find them for yourself!

Azure: For the zombies, only about a second's worth... you know... just moans, grunts, groans, etc... just use your imagination.  

As for the two minor voice acting parts for James and Kristin... I haven't quite gotten their lines worked out yet.  It will probably be a few screams, grunts, and "NOOOOO!" (things like that)  But I'll post when I'm ready to do that.  I'd like to do a couple of cutscenes... but I'm a really bad animator... heh  

I guess while I'm here, I'll give you all a little update on the game....

There's not much to tell.

I've been busting my ass at my new job, I work almost every day (usually at night, and that's normally when I do all of my work on my game...)

I'm not giving up on it though... it may just end up being post-poned a couple of months.  I'M GOING TO FINISH THIS GAME IF IT KILLS ME!  (...in which case, I'll just rise from the dead and finish it then... )

Why would it give you cancer, Darth?  The yellow-5 in it?

I would have a beer... but I'm on kind of a non-drinking binge right now... BTW... I tried Foster's and Guiness for the first time... I will never ever drink either one of those beers ever again as long as I live!

In fact, if those were the only two beers left on the planet, besides Blatz... I'd rather drink the blatz!  (we all gotta poop sometime...)

Well... I always respect Big Brother's and Darth's opinions... but honestly, I could never find anything wrong with the pic in the first place.

Granted, it does looks slightly better now.
