I wouldn't mind collaborating, no time to code or write puzzles but am happy to swing out some backgrounds.

@Cassie - Thank you :) Yep! the mass consensus is that it doesn't really look like a dog at all. Animals have never been my forte`! But I will keep on trucking.

@Bishy. Cheers. You know what? I'd never really considered that too much as often official artwork takes some artistic license over in game sprites. In saying that, I see no reason why this can't be easily revised. I'm still refining the character sprite too. Chicken/egg :P

@Blondebraid. Thank you sir. I'm all about the shapes. Completely agree regarding his shirt!

I'm going to give this another go!

@Chicky. That it is, that it is ;) It's missing a couple of coats. I can often over do it, I have no gauge :)

@selmiak. Yep! I've had too many people say the same thing. Back to the drawing board on our urban pup.

revisions, revisions ;)

We've got a bit of preliminary box art happening.

I'd like to add some more details and well as incorporate the 'Part 1' moniker.

EDIT (04 April - 'Nother one!)

Thanks funk, I couldn't help but add some more.

That's where I came unstuck Khris. I had to re write all of my GUI's.

Good to know it 'can' be done.

@ Bishy - Thanks Mate!

@ Cassie - Thank you :) I feel the environments are becoming more surreal as I go. Not sure if that's a good thing lol.

Wow, this looks super promising. Man, I'm kind of torn as I really liked the original game-boy palette.

The color version is certainly more 'Palatable" you could say. :)

Looks great, best of luck.

This looks tantalizing! I love the sepia palette. First screen reminds me of final fight :)

Hey Gang,

After searching extensively on this board to no avail, I ask a simple question. Is it 'at all' possible to switch out GUI style once entrenched in a project?

The VerbCoin template really isn't working for me and I'd prefer not to start again if possible.

I tried copying BASS scripts over from a blank template with out any luck. Looks like the global is too heavy modified by the template chosen at startup.

If too tricky I might just have to start again, thought I would ask the question first.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT - Mods, please delete post as I've found a way to work with the verb Coin. Alternatively leave open for others, for future reference.

I would like to echo chicky's post exactly.

Being on the cusp of having a trailer ready for steam Greenlight. Do I purchase a green light account and push it out before they change the rules?

I wonder if they will honour games submitted prior to implementing the new platform. (As in, games that have been submitted, but not yet Green-lit).

Saw that today. Bit of a worry to be honest.

@Danvzare - That may very well be the greatest walk cycle in the history of man, ever. Even the up/down loop. :P Don't you dare change it.

@Funkpanzer - Wow, super GTA1/2 vibes. Very impressive!

Damn, looking for a working link of either Snow/Rain plugin or ParticleSystemPlugin.

Not sure what to do with the above link Crimson. Aren't all plugins dll files?

Cheers.

Thanks Mandle!

A bit Moar!

Ok I think I'm in, what a great theme.

A little proof of concept.

Blue2 - An Exercise in Time & Space.

Switch between two main characters (BlueX & BlueY) and two time-lines (40,000BC and 1995) with the click of a button.

#119
Oh man, what a unique style! I'm looking forward to trying this :D

Hey All,

Another screenie! Progress is steady :) I'm still polishing the older screens sporadically.
