ooh, that ended quicker than I thought it would! I thought that game was just getting going and then... the end.

Good job though. I liked it a lot.  ;D

I liked the game, although
1) The puzzles were a little straight forward and not too much variety
2) The scene with the Necromancer was kind of irritating, the way that if you don't think fast enough (which I don't  :P) then you have to wait while the scene replays (which takes  too long) before you get another go.
But other than that, well done!

QuoteWhat about complete Fantasy names as elven Methiviel or Helkaathiel? Should they be named Steve and Helen?

If possible, yeah. I know people called Steve and Helen so I can relate to characters named thus  ::)

In all seriousness though, if you were looking to make a LITN a commerically viable game you would have to at least partly Anglicise some of the character's names, imho.

Yeah I agree with most of the comments on this thread- great piece of atmospheric interactive fiction, but I wish there had been more gameplay elements.

Also, because I'm English I found the Turkish names of the characters were kind of too similar and I got confused as to who was being talked about. Maybe next time give the characters more varied names?

There's a frontpage!?

;)

I have to say I have no idea what the game is about, and no idea what to do. Maybe a help file or even a brief wordpad document in the zipfile would have been helpful.

Shame, as the opening sequence looked quite neat.

Also, you need to get it proof-read by an English speaker, cos there are some jars in that opening sequence.

Thanks Rui - it was actually a really dumb thing that I was stuck on, but I figured it out in the end.  ;D

The hacker guy can mod your phone- can't remember exactly if you have to give it to him or if the conversation comes up naturally when talking about something else.

I'm stuck on the next day, when you get the modded phone back from him. I can't work out what to do next!

I'm part way through playing and just wanted to congratulate you so far. It's nice to see a bit of originality in the interface and story design, and I'm liking the game very much so far.

Shame there's not been much in the way of music so far though.

Wow, I love the original Knytt. Can't wait to give this one a go!

I agree with most of the compliments and criticisms of the game. Certainly there aren't many freeware writers out there on par with Grundislav; rather than getting too het up with the imperfections with the game, maybe we should be grateful that there are people out there making games of the quality of the BJ series.

The quality of the stories and writing in the majority of AGS game is pretty poor, but authors like Grundislav and Yahtzee are a cut above.

Looking forward to BJ7.

Your English is just fine (especially compared to that guy in the previous thread...)  but you're going to need an English version of your game if you want to get a lot of attention. My French is basic, to say the least!

Man, that is comically bad  ;D

Well done!

ok, I don't normally suck this bad, but this game has got me  :-[

I'm right near the beginning, I have the underwear tag with the coordinates, the chameleon towel thing and I know where the ladybird spaceship is.

I think I need to disarm the weapons (or something) system in order to be able to put the coordinates into the ship and get it to fly, but I can't work it out.

I'm going spare here! Help!  :'(

I'm stuck near the start. I've found the ladybird ship and got the betamax thing out, but I can;t work out what to do next.

Thanks,
