Thank you. I didn't realize that was how to

use the spyglass

I finished the game now.

So does that mean that

there is only one "correct" ending?

Congratulations :)
Spoiler
yes there is just one correct ending. By finding the murder you get a confession. By combining the evidences in game you`re getting a logical theory.

Hi Lanchong,

im happy that you enjoyed Blooded Fields.
Also thank you, that you like the graphics.

Indeed it is very short, but as you said we had a tight timeframe, also with jobs and family it was hard to find time to work on the game,
but in the end we got a respectable result.

Lets see if there is some opportunity to bring our detective back on screen.

Greetings

Then to your question, Creamy:

What became to the daughter? Its up to the detective to solve the case. He is collecting the evidence und depending on his conclusion, if he is arresting an innocent or the true murder. So if you know the killer, you know what happend to the daughter.

Completed Game Announcements / Blooded Fields

There's been a murder in Beckenshire, and you've been called in to solve it.

Hunt down clues, interrogate witnesses and suspects, and form a theory as to who is the murderer, in this point and click adventure with a gameboy-themed palette.

Hi everyone,

we would proudly announce you our contribution for this month MAGS.
We worked as an team, where everybody had his own department.
I had the idea for the game and made the arts.
Dan Vzare made the additional story writing, dialogues and puzzles,
and Babar made the scripting and additional dialogues.

Barbar and me started last month an attempt making a game, but we wasnt able to create something out of the inside of a cockoo clock.
So we started this month with a new one, my first adventure i made ever. After having the idea we get Dan onboard, who wrote brilliant dialogues and puzzles.
So the thing was growing and we was very disciplinated while working on the game. Were a great team.

Hope you enjoy! :)

Hi there,

for me its great to do teams.
Well there are two sides of the medal, to do teams can be difficult to handle and there can be some issues in imagination,
but for me doing all by my person blocks a lot of my mind. While doing graphics i thinking bout the story, while that about the puzzles and the other direction.

On the other hand im really bad in programming, creating puzzles and write good dialogues.
Cant be good in everything.

Doing teams can be take a lot of responsibility if everybody has his own realm.

I havent much time, because having a stressy job an family, but i want to make a mags game.
So i like to build a team where i create the graphics in my own monochrome pixelart style.
A game which is totally reduced but full of fun.

Searching for AGS progammer and somebody who can do good puzzles and dialogues.
I just doing the graphics efforts.

If there is anybody, who has already experience and wants to join please write me.

Greetings from Bavaria,
Christian

Hello,

im doing my first steps with AGS.
Using 9 verb style.

Wanna make my own shortgame and have some questions.

1. What is the most structured way to set up a game. Wanna avoid to get messy.

2. I wanna make a starting screen.
Wanna have a screen for the "labelname", then one for starting. Wanna add there some text before game.

3. I want to integrate a overview map with a single point moving, like in monkey island.

Hope somebody can help me with my first steps.

Heyho everybody,

thank you for your very valuable input with this frame.
Its not ready. Its just a intermediate state.

@scavenger

Thank you for your easing suggestions.
At the first view i havent seen your inbetweeners, you added. These are really cool.
Had adapted many suggestions including the amazing head-animation. Others i tried to make another way.

It was really helpful.

Im not ready with it. Its a intermediate state.
At the moment im struggling with the jacket. Well the legs was much more easier to shade.
But the jacket has folds and thousend of brown and ocker tones, difficult to understand.

well, well, well... :-D

Thank you very much for your input.
Did now the modification of the sprite. ;)

Now Indy doesnt look like he is sweeping a beer from the bar.
Have it more simplified. He is moving forward, but makes no step just standing on his tiptoes.
What i like most ist the grab-animation of the hand. 8-)

Hello everybody,

im new in the 7Cities-Team and working on graphics.
Doing a taking animation. Well havent really done animations before, just very few. Can you give me some tipps how i can improve my animation?
Think it isnt fluent and some movings, especially the legs seem to be wrong or exaggerated.

Well in my imagination i like to rotate the back a bit with the arm.

This is not the complete animation. I think i will show, how he is doing it in the jacket, also and come back to the outgoing position.
