Check the source of that image Even. :) The little chicken that is. Probly from some forum somewhere, but still.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a monkey, it could just be bananas. Just as long as its something to do with the theme. :)

Errr...never mind. o_O

Nice work everyone, nice to see the different interpretations. :)

General Discussion / Re:I've been hacked
Wed 25/06/2003 23:39:12
heh, ive gotten hacked about 3 times now. Once by some Israeli group, once by a Palestinian group and once by some turkish or armenian people, i forget which.

Anyway, all they did was fiddle with my newscript adding a crappy item about themselves or in the last case they did what they did to you, replace the index.html.

I was pretty jarred the first time, but you kinda get used to it, and make backups. :P

As long as that's all they do, I don't really care. I have no idea why the hell they want to make a political statement on a site which has nothing to do with politics.

These hackers know how to spell! Nah, they must have cut and pasted the poem. ._. Love the homepage. ;)

Ignore the hype. Read the books. They're good.

That looks very good DYDO. The only problem I see is that err...female something on the wall (maybe a poster?), its standing out from the room and becoming the focus point. Unless you want it that way.

I especially like the colouring on the chairs in the foreground and the windows to the right, nicely done.

Heh ._. sorry, musta been brain dead.

That's a pretty good point, although like some of these people are saying, they had gotten to the point where it was bordering on OCD(eg the washing hands till they bleed bit).

I don't think either of what I said I do are part of a disorder, they're just habits. I'm pretty sure many people double-check locks, anyone who lives alone and is careful. If one day I find that I get to the point where I go somewhere and come back just to check if all the cabinets in the house are closed, then it'll be OCD time.

The only problem I have with this is when I'm trying to get to sleep.
Sometime's I'm almost asleep, and I realize that I didn't close one of my dresser drawers all of the way. I try to ignore it, but eventually I have to get up and close it all of the way.

Hehehe, you just reminded my of my cabinet door obsession. I don't like open drawers or open cabinets. I close them even if I have to open them a minute later. It just doesn't look right! :P I doubt I could sleep knowing there's a cabinet door open somewhere in my house.

Background Information:
This is a general drawing activity. Everyone does a drawing on a given theme. There are no restrictions on color, size, res or style or content. Basically, just draw anything relating even remotely to the theme.

This week's theme is: Monkeys.

General Info: This is a background-design activity. Draw a background that fits the theme for the round with the given resolution and colour limits.

Right, this time we'll try an underwater castle, as per n3tgraph's request.

640x400, hi colour.

Too few votes, I'll leave it open till tomorrow evening.

Can we stick to links with posts and not just comments on the programs? The thread will get too long.

If you're posting a program, post a link to a download, or its just wasting people's time and they're going to ask 'OH WHERE CAN I GET THAT!?!'

An uncle of mine went to the village in Italy where my family is from and complete strangers knew who he was because of how he walked.

I guess we walk funny.

This doesn't have much to do with the topic, but it sure it wierd!

Hee, that's hillarious. ._.

Bodly language is a very interesting topic, yup. I used to read books on it back when ... I used to read.  :P

Coincidentally, I was thinking the other day that the middle finger sign would have no effect in other countries, whereas here it could even lead to extreme violence.

I used to do this thing where I had to check a locked door about ten times, then it turned into doing this with both hands, and as time went on I felt I had to jiggle that knob more and more times..

Yeah, I got the locked door thing. Maybe not 10 tens but I do stand there and jiggle the handle a few times to make sure its locked, then I walk off and wonder if I really did lock it properly. I used to do some other obsessivey-type stuff but I've forgotten them right now.

Heh, I do this every morning. Not ten times, maybe 2 or 3 but sometimes I walk down to the car and then I don't remember if its locked and I HAVE to go back and check it. I've double and triple checked locks, for as long as I can remember.

Annoying  :-\ but what can you do ._.

I don't have any other OCD behaviour....that I know of....

Oh yeah, just remembered, I used to do that whole 'balance' thing when I was younger. Like if I'm placing stuff then it has to be equal on both sides. I just put that down to perfectionism tho.   But it seems I grew out of it. :)
