Very nice, like all your work. :)

The figure would have to be my favorite bit of the piece, nice little touches.

It would help if you posted a smaller pic since its difficult to see the town from that vantage point that you are aiming for, if one has to scroll horizontally.

Nice form :)

The shading is a bit odd tho, if your lighting is from the left then the entire bottom of the right boot will not catch the light like that. The right arm guard is also inconsistent with the lighting, the highlight should be on the left, not center.

And as Andail said, the face could use a bit more details. Overall, great work!

That was a completely content free post scummyB. Can we stick to posting program links?

Ultimate Paint  - Good for pixelly stuff too, altho pro-motion is spiffier. Features a trial.

NeoPaint - Similar, 30 day trial

If you don't like Mitar, and you want to remove all chances of a graceful goodbye and drag this thread out, then by all means flip him off behind his back. Or...

Just one last thing, we don't flip people off behind thier backs around here, we tell it like it is to thier face. Which is what we're doing.

Give him a break. I never found anything too juvenile about Mitar's posts. Especially after the whole Hosamov ordeal.
M0ds, if you don't like Mitar and don't wish to bid him a polite farewell, I think any other moderator would agree that you should never have posted in this thread at all.

Why? Are only people who are for him staying allowed to post? Have you noticed m0ds saying similar things about other members? He has a reason for them, and as Andail said, its hypocritical to bid a 'polite' goodbye when you don't mean it.

This thread is just another oh-poor-me-make-me-feel-better-so-i'll-stay thread. I'm sick and tired of them. If you want to leave, just get out and stop making "pity party" posts.

Unless I counted wrong, we have a winner: Mr Frisby!

Nice work, everyone who entered. :)

Too few votes to decide. -_-

I'll leave it open till 12noon EST tomorrow. Vote people :P Or die. ^_^
#293
Okey, I edited his post to make it the right size. If you want to post a detail shot, post it in addition to the back, not in place of. :)

And yeah, we can vote now. :) Mine goes to Mr Frisby too, I just love the clouds.

Lots of entries last time, good to see. :)

This time let's try the interior of a haunted house.

320x200 to keep with the last one, 256 colours. It can be scrolling horizontally.

You can draw any room in the house, hallways, main rooms or attics. You get the idea. :P

Edit: Since I won't be around to end this blitz and start the next one, Archangel will be taking over for that ._. k

Scotch :P that's 640 x 400. What gives? ???

It's fabulous, but since I did specify a res, that isn't a valid entry. :(

Stairs look good.

I still have a problem with the use of the same colour and texture throughout. It looks like a The Sims decorating nightmare. ._.  I mean the stool has the same texture as the walls, as does the door. I can't imagine a room like that IRL.

You should consider at least changing the floor.  :P

Thanks. :)

3x5 is good enough for me because I've never worked on anything but 3x5. But people do say the bigger ones are better.

I have two because I use one at home and one at work.

The fireplace itself is great.

But the rest of the room is too samey. It has the same texture on the walls, the ceiling, the floor and even the stairs. It's looking too.....rendered. I think you need to vary the patterns and colours a little.
