I don't know how to post spoiler text so Im sorry if i ruin anything for anybody.

But after I put the *blank* in the *blank* in the *blank*, and then leave the *blank*, an error code comes up about the chefs speechview is invalid.

I hope that makes sense haha.

But yes, love the game I just cant seem to progress further because of this.

Just a quick update to say it's still alive for anyone interested.
I'm thinking the game is getting a lot better as I progress making it.
I am improving with AGS and have many people to thank for it. The games graphics are still as bad as ever haha but hopefully you'll enjoy it.

The reason nothings been happening is because I've had to move country so its been quite stressful and busy
But heres a little glimpse of what im up to

Story - 100%
Art - 80%
Scripting - 60%
Music - 80%

I wanted to put another screenshot but i feel ive put enough as it is.
I want to make the game long enough to not make ppl think its too short so it will take a while longer before its done. But yes the games still alive!  :)

It's not a bug but the hotspot of the inventory object is not 0,0 so you have to try a bit...

yeah, that was something I never got around to fixing, you just have to click the upper left-hand corner of the object, it is the same with some after it so you have to mess around with where you click

I noticed that quite a bit, quite frustrating because you were never sure if it would work or not. Has a good plot though! Hopefully you can make a new game thats longer.

Barry and his "friends" need to go on a journey.
I thought this would be nice to show a shot showing of the different characters from the game. :)

Just a little update.

I havn't done much on this for a while because of exams and other various things, so progress has been slow. Should hopefully be done in a few weeks time. :)

agh so im completely new to this concept. I dont know the first thing about using modules. Can you direct me to the place that can tell me how?

This might seem very basic but I'm just having trouble getting it to work.  Basically I want a character to constantly move around the screen in a set route ive given it despite whatever else is happening in that room. How do I go about doing that? the ccharacter.Walk function seems to not like the idea of that
thanks

I always love a good thriller :)

I know that, but its not the speed at which the animations are going or the speed of the character...He just like, keeps stopping randomly and stuttering. Sometimes he even just skips a full walking section, pauses and cuts to the end of his walk. It's really frustrating
#38
I've been working on my game foir a while now and everything is working fine.
Lately though, as I;ve been testing the game I've noticed my characters is getting really clunky and stuttery as he's walking.
The animations work fine and the walkable areas are done correct but he keeps doing it. It's only started happening recently as well.

What do you think the problem is?

Thanks

Exactly my opinion as well. Thumbs up. I'd even add a moto.."If you can't draw, you can just laugh about it."

Exactly what I was thinking hehe. I'm getting better with the drawing as I go along, but theyre still good to joke about!
