I use Firefox, because everyone else uses it and I don't have an opinion on my own.

Also, I use Opera and Opera Mini for my mobile phone, because there's really no substitute.

Yeah, well, I'm only nearly 20 years old and I can remember only a few years ago when in my country "pervert" was synonymous to "gay". Now here, there's a (usually) negative word for gay, but we use the english word when we want to be neutral.

Words are only what we make them to be.

I don't remember if I posted this before, it's the latest picture I took of myself.

I use that mobile phone for so many things, ranging from reading novels in pdf format to connecting to the internet. I carry it wherever I go, it has become my third testicle ;D

Thanks to everyone who participated!

I guess now it's time to give out the trophies...

It wasn't easy to decide which trophy to give to each of my favourite three entries, but here is my final decision. Now somebody lock this thread before I change my mind!

The bronze trophy goes to: Allocius

I love this sprite, it fills the theme exactly and would serve as an amazing in-game sprite. The cartoony look makes it all the better.

The silver trophy goes to: Tuomas

This sprite is lovely and would also be a nice in-game sprite. My personal criticism is that I believe the colours chosen could have been better. I couldn't help smiling from imagining a calm, crazy Splinter catching horrified running humans with a gigantic mower. For this hilarious image alone, Tuomas earns the silver trophy.
The golden trophy goes to: Mazoliin

The standard entry everyone expected, a deformed giant rodent. I loved the technical aspects of this sprite, such as the colours used and a few nice details.

Tiny changes in the above sprites would change the outcome of the results. They weren't so far from each other.

An honorary mention goes to Miguel, I found the sprite cute and charming. A very few technical issues kept it from receiving a trophy.

Well done Mazoliin, and good luck hosting the next Sprite Jam ;D

I've already made up my mind about the top three entries, but I'm not sure in which order to place them yet :p

I'll let this on until tomorrow in case someone wishes to present a late entry.

I like most of you around here, but I've never hung around much or tried to know anyone. I don't have any "friends" here - or even buddies, but there are a few people I kinda like more than others. I'm not telling you who they are. The mystery!

So far, in all my online years, I've had maybe more than 30 internet close buddies (including two old online relationships that today I'm ashamed of starting them), but we got lost eventually. Only four survived time, and them I actually consider real friends. I met each one of them at different online places and I know I'll want to meet them in person someday.

I'm planning to post my previous entry (Zap-O-Gun) and put a rodent with it but it would be cool if you could extent the deadline..
I guess I could for a little while. When do you think you will have it finished?

I regret even making this:

Where I'm serving in the military, there's some guy who's obviously gay, but we all like him. I noticed that whenever we joke about gayhood, we never include him in our jokes when he's present. But when he's not, our gayhood jokes usually involve him :P (eg "put something on before X rapes you" etc).

Well, gay jokes can be funny and open-minded...this one however...

I realize it sounds very strong in English, in my country it sounds much less offensive...

I joke about my sexuality often, maybe more often than most. But if one questions my sexuality, I will get insulted. However, I don't consider being gay as an insult, just like I don't consider being a woman insulting. I believe when someone thinks you're a woman when you're a guy is insulting for similar reasons. And I hope I'm not insulting anyone right now by comparing gays to women, but it's the best analogy I could find :P.

When someone insults me it always hurts, no matter how stupid the insult was, or if I personally found the comment insulting at all. It's the thought that counts, not the actual insult.

What if his father is an evil genius? Maybe the child doesn't want to be evil, so the father grounds him until he changes him mind.

Think of the possibilities... Escaping from the lair of an evil genius is always fun.

But I guess this strays too far away from your original idea.

Trophies are up now, so keep the entries coming!

I let bunnies count too.

Tuomas, how exactly does one revenge with a mower?
#218
Yes, I meant on the edges. You are allowed to use anti-aliasing inside the sprite, as long as you stay within the colour limit
#219
You've all seen what happened to the mouse in the previous Spite Jam contest. He was tortured, abused, and his carcass was dumped in the toxic waste of Darkcity's Main Factory. His contact with the unnatural waste somehow saved his life, yet mutated him into something intelligent, strong and horrible. And now, he has returned to revenge!

Rules:
* Draw a mutated rodent (not necessarily a mouse) whose purpose is to revenge mankind.
* Entries will be mostly judged on technical skills, creativity and character posture.

Limitations:
* 32 colours
* No size limit, but the animal should work well as a game character
* No anti-aliased edges

Your rodent is encouraged to wear things like weapons, a villain uniform, mechanical parts, etc, but they are not essential.

Gold, Silver and bronze angry rodent trophies with ruby eyes for the winners :D

Very nice. Like other people said, the guitar sound could be better, though I like how it sounds after the first vocals come.

Speaking of vocals, I think they are perfect for the style.
