General Discussion / Re: Decisions, decisions!

While I was having exams I was thinking that when the summer comes I will be home all day practising my music and drawing skills. Unfortunately, I was given a 10-day free guest pass to World of Warcraft. I figured "what the hell, 10 days is not much". The thing is, I got addicted and even bought the retail version. I have about 3 weeks before I go to the dreaded army for 2 mandatory years, and what do I do? Playing WoW all the time. Damn you Blizzard!

That's nothing... I keep getting mails from girls and lonely wives who wish to have sexual intercourse with me. Even though that flatters me, I have to decline the invitations because it's against my moral standards to engage in any activities of that nature with any person that can't decently spell.

I knew I'd get this sort of replies, I just wanted to set things straight because you are people I'll never meet personally and therefore your opinion values a lot to me.

Nobody actually believes that yesterday was the day of the Antichrist... Or do they? It's just a "funny" observation. I personally still haven't heard of anyone saying "O NOES ITS TEH ANTICRAEST!!~!1!" and mean it yet, but I heard a lot of people having fun with that.

I heard the right wing psycho christians were pretty psyched about it... but no normal people believes that yesterday was the day of the Antichrist...

That's not true. I know a few (and some very conservative), and nobody actually believed that. I suppose that some people do believe it, it's just that they are the louder ones, as always.

As for the guy with the shirt, he's doing it for two reasons: fun, and attention. Satanists just don't go out screaming "/y s@t@n pWnz n00b!1!". The inverted cross is not a satanic symbol anyway, it originally symbolised Peter's crucifiction. And like it was said, it's logical to assume that Satan doesn't use any human symbols or calendars.

Behold and fear the worshippers of Satan!

From this day forth, I shall stop joking in forums, as people often think I'm serious. Of course I acknowledge that only a small portion of the female population is like that. I just wish they stopped acting as though they are our bosses, but I guess it's our fault. We should have never let them come out of the kitchen -.-

Don't trust girls, really. They're worse than guys, with the exception that they're even more hypocritical. They might not think about sex as much as guys do, but they act like they're saints and they're even more shallow than guys are... They just make it appear cute.

Plus, they keep complaining about always coming across jerks, but that's who they like. They don't like good guys, all the average girl wants is a cute guy who pretends he like her so that he can enter her Pants Realmâ,,¢

I don't mind hearing swearing, or even using it, up to a point. But when it comes to music I just don't like it. No I'm not the kind of person who says swearing in music corrupts the youth or something and would probably still listen to it if it was really good...

Anyway, good luck with that :D. Why don't you post a song or something in Critics Lounge so we can critic it?

Yesterday I had to miss my Information Technology examination that would dictate whether I go to a university in my country or not, because of unexpected things that happened. Apparently, it was against the Devil's masterplan... I am honoured to say that has better plans for me. Hail Satan, your servant salutes you! \m/

Yes I did, I browsed it a bit and found a tutorial by him there. I was like "wow, an Orchestration and Instrumentation tutorial? awesome!". I blindly followed the link and added the page in my bookmarks as fast as my internet connection could allow, but when I started reading I noticed that I had seen it before :P

Nice forum, I'll check them out more later, when I have time.

ah, it's the old "oh no what a bastard I was (am? :=)" memory, I have that a lot too.

I don't know much about html, but it seems to me that your image has an invalid filename. Obviously, IE doesn't like the name Bildepåside.JPG, while Firefox doesn't mind. Try naming the picture without any strange characters, it should work.

Edit: Dr Scary beated me to it

The only site that doesn't work with Firefox to me is the windows update site, for obvious reasons :P. I was used to IE and wouldn't want to change, even though I knew the advantages of Firefox. When my computer got messed up I became paranoid about security and switched to Firefox, I've been using it since.

I mean, I listen to other styles of music now, rock isn't really my thing anymore, now a rock band has to be very special for me to like it.

I checked if they are on myspace for you, here they are: http://www.myspace.com/screamingtrees this is Screaming Trees

3 years ago I'd love this kind of music, but now I've moved on ;D they are still ok to listen to, though

There are actually at least 8 bands called Forsaken, hehe. I searched for Forsaken Dominaeon but wouldn't find a thing, and that USA band is not epic doom metal...

Anyway, indeed it's quite awesome, thank you :o I'll put it in my "next" list, now that I've been an adult for 2 weeks I'll get my own internet card very soon 8)

Hey it's not my fault if the evil american protestants brainwashed me to split music into christian and secular even though I dislike that distinction :(

I would listen to Forsaken, but I can't seem to find samples anywhere. My google skills have failed me.

General Discussion / Re: Cancer(?)
Tue 30/05/2006 10:20:43
I personally never lost anyone to cancer, but I suspect that a friend of mine has it. Her hair started falling, she has some really painful headaches and other nasty effects. I don't really know if that's signs for cancer, but it still is very serious. Hopefully it's something treatable, but we'll know later

Hearing about stuff like this makes me paranoid and afraid that in a few years I'll get cancer too, though nobody in my family had it (yet).

As for food, I heard that cold meat products are known to cause cancer.

My condolences to everyone too.
