Very nice! I like it how it progresses and everything, this is beautiful ;D

The only thing I might change if I were you would be to balance the volumes of the instruments. But then again I suppose you did this with software, which results in the instruments sounding too blended together unless you have the volumes unbalanced. I always have this problem when I try compose.

Keep up the good work

Hey

I took the advice I got here and improved some things, like the hands.

Note that the following drawings look twice as good on the actual paper, they lost a lot of colour due to the scanning (especially the blood). I used pencil, an ordinary pen, black + light-blue + bright red + geen + purple ink and a yellow highlighter.

Yes I know his head is too big and his hand too small. This was much better as in pencil but I screwed up the inking. The poem is in Greek

I suppose it's impossible to hold a straight cross like that, but I realised it later. Also I don't like the left arm of the demon

This is one of my random stuff, the colours blend very well on the actual paper. The thing below is incomplete crap, I know the hand is not correct I just didn't feel like fixing it. I did the whole page including the "poem" out of boredom.

The guy on the left is an angel and the dead one is a demon.Ã,  Yes his wings are uneven and he somehow tilts to the right.

Because I already had two poems I figured I'd give another one

Fairies

Yesterday I discovered life
A childish soul has died
Bears are not cuddly; they rip your flesh apart
The fairy rapes your dreams; the fairy is a slut!

And you, you stay away from me
I have a disease
And it's going to backfire on you, and only you
All this bitterness is not going to save you

I need compensation, dear friend
before you perish in your own righteousness
I want my pacifier back
The fairy is a slut on drugs!

Umm anyway... What do you think? Any helpful critisism or suggestions? Do you think I should get a tablet? Also, are there any good tutorials about human proportions and stuff?

Nice and freaky. If there's one thing I don't like is the art on the ceiling, try drawing it as you would on a flat surface and then skew it to fit the ceiling.

Umm I think it rounds up to

- Vacation and the ability to wake up late
- Some good speakers to connect my cd-player to so I can enjoy my music without having to use headphones (my pc speakers are an abomination)
- Maybe a tablet
- Maybe more music cds

General Discussion / Re: Christmas specials

This not really in the "Christmas spirit" but it's related. Here's a video that talks about the Great Deception of Satan disguised as Santa Clause.. You can't miss this one!

http://www.blowthetrumpet.org/TheGreatDeceptionVideo.htm

It's a video trying to prove that Santa is Satan in disguise. I don't mean to start any debates out of this, I just think it's too funny. I don't have a clue whether this is a joke or a serious attempt to reach out to "deceived" people...

It's fairly easy to be a Christian heretic, but how exactly does someone become a Satanist heretic? And... uh... what do they lose as a result (ex-ex-communicated? "Take your soul back; we don't want it anymore"?) Heh...

Well... it's possible to be a Satanist with or without believing in God. A satanic heresy of a religion (in this case christianity) is someone who believes in the God of that religion but glorifies Satan instead, I guess.

QuoteBut see, that's the thing... No links to anything, no idea of what they were trying to sell.... JUST PLAIN SPAM! No purpose to it, they seem to have been just spamming.... spam. Everything else is for something... Home loans, p3n1sh enlargement, drugs, warez.... not this... Just random sentences of uselessness. What you see here is what you get.

In web-based e-mail applications pictures in junk/bulk mails are hidden. That's because by viewing them, accessing them somehow validates your e-mail in the spammer's list or something like that and then you get bombed with a lot of ad-spams (I read that in hotmail help). I got a spam email some time ago and so that there was a blocked picture on it (they appear with a gray color) of like 2x2 pixel size which had no reason of being there.

So... my point is that maybe there are some kind of spam bots that get random text from random sites online but also put a tiny picture or something to validate your email to them or get your IP to bomb you with spyware. Bleh.

Speaking of that, I just thought of something. A lot of chain mails come with a picture! And every time they tell you to forward the mail but not copy paste it, maybe that's so the picture can spread. So maybe this is the reason behind chain mails. If so it can be very convinient for spammers (they come from buddies so they don't get filtered as spam and spread more easily).

White Chamber had some sort of a score system that affected the gameplay. During the game you get choices and by doing the right one you get a point, by doing the wrong one you lose one. To get the "good" ending you need at least 3 good points, otherwise you get the "bad" ending.

Ohter than that, scores in games actually irritate me. If I finish the game without getting them all I don't feel as rewarded as I would with all the points... And I'm always too lazy to go play the game again when I have finished it (unless it's Monkey Island or Dott, which don't have a scoring system).

w00t it's Shodan!

I miss Looking Glass Studios.. They have always made the scariest, most atmospheric and innovative games. It's a big shame it went bankrupt...

I prefer mini-soccer... Infact, I have a mini-soccer match to attend to in exactly an hour and 20 minutes. I don't like playing normal soccer because the way I play is suitable for the smaller field, 5 people per team instead of 11.

Goldwave does a good job at removing hiss noise and more (its pitch correction sucks though, but I don't suppose you'll need that)

speaking of Einstein, he said: "One thing is certain. God wasn't playing dice" or something like that.

I believe that if evolution is indeed true, it can't just happen by its own. Things are just too complicated to just happen by simple chance. I believe that God interfered in the whole process.

But anyway, back to paranormal: Yes I experienced things like that. The most memorable ones are the kind of what Darth had. The latest one was my favourite, it happened exactly a week ago.

I was lying on bed thinking about stuff and suddently things got darker and I felt something was on my right. I tried to turn my head to face right, but it was as though something was holding it. Then I faced the ceiling and some words were written on it, it was as though they were projected by some kind of invisible projector. The words disappeared, but then reappeared again. I couldn't read them though because they were changing all the time. I was scared as hell, and then I got control of me. It wasn't really like I woke up, but it was like I got control back.

I came to the conclusion that it was either a weird dream, or a demon trying to scare teh hell out of me :P. Because if it really was some kind of divine message to me, I'd be able to read it and make sense out of it.

I don't know what to think. The recording is bad indeed. The problem I find is that it's too random. But I like its weirdness, weird music is cool

Quote from: 2ma2 on Tue 22/11/2005 14:30:50I am pleased. You may use this thread to further taunt DG (Hey, it's fun!) or perhaps debate wether bananas actually are deliscious or not. If you do must, feel free to question statement above.. but I'd rather you didn't.Ã,  :-*

Why not turn it into a religious debate?

It all comes down to this: If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and saviour, all your new started threads are automatically going to be interesting.

It should have him holding the world or a glass of petrol, saying "my precious!"

exactly :P

The biggest problem I see is not the modelling, but the rendering. It looks kinda blurry to me. I hope that it's only due to the .jpg format.

GOD TOLD ME TO INVADE IRAQ

I loved that one.

This is a well known fact, mOds, didn't you know?

God told me to... x
God wants me to... x
God wants... x
God hates... x

These are the kind of sentences that tick me off. I've noticed people abusing it so bad that I barely managed to keep myself from being too judgmental on them. Especially when people read too much into things and take everything as a sign

A silly example: lets say that I want to go out but on my way out of the door I drop something on my shirt that leaves a stain. Therefore this is God's way to tell me that I shouldn't go out and I must stay home.

It might sound bizarre but I've faced people who think like this too many times so far. I mean come on, it's not what God wants you to do, it's what you think God wants you to do. I consider people who put themselves in a position where they are supposed to know what God wants them to do as very proudful (example: Jack Thompson and one of my ex girlfriends).
