My signature has been 96 pixels since forever (and it wasn't even a banner, just a stupid guitar pic), and nobody told me anything so I didn't realise I was breaking any rules until now ???

But anyway, my crit is to at least do something about all the double pixels on the rose.

I agree with that, that's why I don't consider myself an Orthodox. However, I agree with most of the teachings of the church. And I don't think it's nice to accuse God for something people are doing. If you remember, Jesus was against the religious leaders of his age who were no much different than the ones today.

Since we are now under the "bush = monkey lol" joke, I might as well post this http://www.boomersfunnies.com/Pictures/Bush%20Monkey.jpg ;D

Well, it's good to see a christian american who thinks that about Bush and stuff. Most christian american people I've talked to are big Bush supporters. Not that I have anything against them, but I got tired of the "our Godly president is protecting our country" mindset.

Personally, I don't like Bush but I actually have a feeling that Kerry would be even worse :P - but that's for no particular reason, politics are just not my thing.

Use windex, windex cures everything!

I second what m0ds said...

About the gradient on the background, I don't recommend it. You'll need 32-bit mode for them to look good. And, unless you need anti-aliasing, 32-bit is not a good idea, because it's much slower than 16-bit.

Yes, but I didn't get into it at all. I played it for a few minutes in an internet cafe. Would it be worth it if I started playing it seriously?

I tried to play Silent Hill 3 on the PC. The graphics were blocky, but strangely enough they gave a great atmosphere that way. However I couldn't understand what the heck I was doing, where I was, etc. One moment I was trying to figure out what I'm doing around blood-stained corpses of people in bunny suits, I fall in a gap, and I wake up in a toilet? I somehow got outside and saw some weird monsters around. That's all the memories I have from the game ???

So no, I didn't like it.

If I got a new cat I'd call her Savia (pronounced like sAh-via), because that's the name of the girl I have a crush for at the moment. So far, all my cats were called with names like "cat", "black", "white", "fat", etc.

King Nipper, for example, is a great example of a mature 13 year old. He makes valid points and mature posts and I'm sure that most people haven't even noticed he's under 16.
#473
I was kidding in my previous post in case you didn't know

But that's a very good point, King Nipper. I bet if we survey everyone, only a very small percentage of people will get offended by holidays. But apparently, some people do get offended:

A quote from what someone else said on a different forum
Quote
Boston Legal on ABC this week was about a Wiccan couple and a Christian
couple that didn't want a Halloween pagaent at their kids' school. The
Wiccans said the principle dressing up like a witch created a negative
stereotpye of Wiccans, and the Christians said that they wanted to protect
their children from something that involved satan (short & sweet of the
two versions).

I don't think this was mentioned before, but it's a good article http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/10/28/tech/gamecore/main992768.shtml

I hope he read it

They're called fairy lights, foo
That offends my religion as a Christian, because fairies are the devil's wives :(

^ no, but I disagreed with the conditions of different games/programs, then used showin to enable the "next" command button, giving me the ability to use software without following the terms of use. Wheee :P

This is weird.. I used to have some kind of spyware that couldn't be deleted, I had to go to the processes to end it there first. But I assume you already checked out the active processes.

Wow. I didn't knew you could do that in AGS.
I've just played around a little with AGS and photoshop and I can see this becoming very useful.
Maybe I can finally make that stop-motion-clay game I've always dreamed about.

Yes you can do that, but keep in mind that it's slow. I don't remember the minimum requirements, maybe the manual has them.

It does look amazing ;D. But where are the doors?

Sketchup is brilliant for making outdoor buildings, but it really sucks for indoor
scenes.
