I don't think he was trying to do something, I think he was only experimenting in Photoshop drawing something abstract.

What I don't like about it is that the jaggies stick too much, and that some stripes look wrong (like the big horizontal black one)

Here are some really great metal bands

Tourniquet is the best thrash metal band (IMO), I love them (especially the album "Where Moth And Rust Destroy"), they're great. www.tourniquet.net

Theocracy is melodic power metal. The first album (composed and recorded by completely one guy alone) is very good. Now the band has a bassist and a drummer instead of one guy doing everything, so I expect the second album to be much better.

Nightwish is epic (I think?) metal, the music is a successful blend of metal and orchestral music, they're my favourite band ever. They have a female singer and a lot of people argue whether her singing matches the music or not, but I think it does. However, I'd prefer it if the bassist sang a bit in every song, because his voice rocks

However, the left arm is 5 pixels wide (not counting the border) and the right is 4, that makes the left arm look fatter. I think it will be fixed by moving the right border of the left hand a pixel on the left

What if you had the banjo play a common banjo strum pattern and some other instrument play the melody (or vocals)?

it is kinda empty, and I wiould probably change the bass sound.

I think it sounds empty because it's not the beginning or the ending of the song, maybe if I write the full thing the emptiness will go away, or at least some of it.

As for the bass, what do you mean exactly? Change the melody, change the rhythym, change the volume or change the bass instrument (eg use acoustic bass or fingered bass)?

I've been experimenting around in Guitar Pro (a midi program good for guitarists) and decided to write an existing song of mine in it as a practise (I already have the full music and words planned out, just not recorded yet).

Well, it sounded very plain with just one guitar because there aren't any vocals (this is a midi after all), so I decided to add something more to it to see how it sounds. So I added a... banjo. A friend of mine called this "Banjocore Metal" (he was obviously joking).

This is so much different than the idea I had in the beginning. I wanted a slow, dark metal vibe, but it turned out to be strangely cute and not really metal at all.

So, what do you people think about it? Any suggestions, critisism?

This is really nice, but at least one gate would make it easier to enter the site (unless you have to go through the river). Also, maybe towers at the corners would look good. A large main building would look good, especially if this place has some kind of authority.

As far as Adam/Eve goes, of course I believe that there were originally two humans, but Adam & Eve might not be them but are there to symbolise the whole humanity. I just don't bother finding out, symbolical or not the point is the same.

But anyway, humans have built-in will to do good and not just evil. The bible says that "everyone has the law written in their hearts", meaning that you can be moral without being religious. If that weren't true, then atheists would be just evil

That's the way it goes, unfortunately. In Greece the vast majority is Orthodox Christians and I got a lot of crap from my parents and kids at school because I stopped being Orthodox

I remember one AGS game I played that was very melancholic, especially the ending. I don't remember what it was called though, it was about a very sick kid who wanted to go see the ocean before he died.

The shoulders aren't wrong, it's just that they fit a strong warrior and not a wizard. Maybe narrow the shoulders just a little bit if you want them wide. That's just my oppinion though, the rest of the people seem to like the shoulders so.... Nevermind me

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images. The contest usually lasts for a fortnight. Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used. Please make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen.

The problem I have with most religions is that everything is extremely dogmatic. I don't think that must always be humble and modest, nor do I think pride is always wrong (I'm proud of many things)
