Messages - Paper Carnival

Well.. The bible doesn't say "apple". It's "the fruit of tree of the knowledge of good and evil".

Edit: I am a christian and take most of the Bible literally, but the story about Adam and Eve is most likely symbolical, in my oppinion. But that's another story... The truth is, there will never be peace in the world. According to the way I interprete the Bible, Satan still rules the world because man allowed him to take that place.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those ugly debates.

These are very cool backgrounds, but like it was said the 2d characters don't match. Also, the papers on the boards have too much shadow and that makes them look like they're either books stuck on the wall or that they float out of the board.

What's wrong with clicking the ground to make the player walk there?
I'm not sure if I understand your question, though.

I think he meant not to put rooms where the perspective is top-view, isometric etc

That's nice... But frame 6 kinda ruins it. I think the leg on the back should be more left on that frame, but the next frames will need to be fixed too

Hehe thanks, LilBlueSmurf...

Taffytom: I don't like emo lyrics, so I'll consider that as a compliment :P

To me it looks like everyone is being "innovative" only for the sake of being innovative. I'm completely happy with the D-Pad or keyboard+mouse and if ain't broken don't fix it.

I don't see yellow dots...?

Suggestion: No blurring looks better than with blurring. Instead of blurring it, try drawing your scenes in double the size, then scale it down to half the size.

Unfortunately this is what all nations do. I can see it in my country too. Education in school is always telling me how much better the Greeks are from anyone else (I'm Greek). And I'm sick of it especially when my best friends aren't Greek.

It's so ironic how a lot of people talk about people of other nationalities. My teacher today said something like "you know kids, Americans are racists to the bone" and proceeded to explain how with a stance showing rasicm against Americans.

But anyway, at least my country was against the bombings in Yugoslavia, our nations are friendly with each other. That doesn't change anything though. It's not hard for the 'powerful' to adjust the ordinary people to their needs. It's not that people are stupid, it's that they hear only half the truth.

Greeks and Turks lived very peacefully with each other in the beginning of the past century, but apparently some of the 'powerful' ones didn't want this. A result was the Armenian and Greek genocide in Turkey. Another result is that my country is now divided in half. Now we're raised to fear and hate the Turks and I suppose a similar thing happens there too. And that's only because some wise guys thought it's better this way.

Sorry for my useless rant :P

SSH: I only used 2 be-somethings so I don't know if they're too much. "Procreated" was used for a purpose, even though begotten would be more logical. Oh and it's not a coincidence it looks like Jesus' last prayer, I saw the Passion a few hours before I wrote it and obviously I got inspired by it :P

[lgm] Hehe very good, even though it sounds a little bit like most my poems (excluding this one). One thing I noticed is that you said "thinking" and then "thought" on next line, it would be better if you didn't use the same word. Other than that I don't think I can find anything, it's quite good.

....But who are you people?

Translation: I'm a fat greedy little kid!
Shouldn't the kid be Λυγδιάρικο and not Ληξιάρικο ? Sorry for the Greek...

Hehe in Cyprus we say Ληξιάρικο :P

Wow, I'm amazed! :P

But... Try putting something in your mouth of strong mint flavor (preferably just brush your stinky teeth) and then drink water. The water will seem colder now. I don't need no TongueWarmer 8)!

:P

(the real translation of the original is "the summer in your face!" if anyone cares)

Judified means betrayed (out of Judas), I love making up new words :P.

I put "wilted" because wilted means not fresh, I wanted to say that I've been feeling like this for a long time.

I like the word "Masticate" and (in my oppinion) fits more than "chew".

Besprinkle means "to sprinkle", I found it in a dictionary.

Bespeak means "To be or give a sign of; indicate". I thought it was more appropriate than a word like "reveal".

Thanks, I like the carnivore line too, it's my favourite along with the final line.

I won't mind if you post your poem :)

All I see is messed up cars. I never really liked Driver, the GTA series are much better (in my oppinion)

I changed it to "so that Your Mercy be bespoken" now, I think it sounds better this way

You are right, so I guess I should have said "be bespoken". I just didn't like the double "be". I'm going to edit it now, thanks :=. Should I say "be spoken" instead? I hope not because I like the word "bespeak".

Well... In a nutshell, it sums up to "God I lost all I had and I'm depressed, so show mercy by killing me" :P.

I'm not sure how the word "bespeak" works exactly, maybe I should have put it in passive voice (put "be bespoken" instead)

You could have PMed me... But here's what it says anyways:

The holy mother Hecate, guardian/keeper of the akasik(???) documents/files/etc, guards their place/position/etc [of the files].

A quote from a guy I know: "I'm not a racist... Infact, I've always said that blacks are man's best friend" (sounds more racist in my language). But personally, I'm no racist.

Anyway... Patrick, a friend of mine, changed a picture of me by making it reddish and adding two spikes to my hair. Another friend of mine saw the picture and she said "wow, Patrick makes you hot"
