Universe!!  (laugh)
That game seems to have passed me by completely. Is it really that good?

Universe is a very unique looking game. There were non other i can remember that had this 'grainy' effect except Curse of Enchantia by the same developer. I cant say much about the story since i played it almost 20 years ago but i remember it as a very fun and original experience. Tramponline You schould check it out some time.

Very cool idea and very positive initiative. I wish I had such possibilities when i was a kid. All we had was wooden blocks and eating crayons out of boredom and it only went downhill from there on. Keep it up!

All i can say is that i'm extremely happy that my work brings such positive emotions to all of You. For many years now, i'm stuck in mindless and imagineless corporate work and seeing this makes me want to take all the images and ideas that are born im my head daily and change them into colorful pixels. Thank you everyone :)

There were few gems like Riven, Zork Nemesis and Zork Grand Inquisitor. But then there were also Cryo games with their stiff, plastic characters >.<.

Most Myst-like games that went 3D (not prerendered) tend to look the same because technology at that time clearly crippled the artistic vision (take Shizm 2 or Uru). So hats off to anyone who knows the anwser :)

p.s. cool thread

Ghost, Jsh and others, thanks for honest opinion and pointing out the flaws. Both of us treat this game as a test of our abilities and everything you or anyone else writes will be taken under a consideration and analyzed. Jsh I'm especially glad you liked the cliffhanger:) I hope in the end, the flaws wont take the fun out of the game.

AGS Games in Production / Re: THE BUM
Tue 11/12/2012 14:58:42
Hello to all of AGS forum members.

My name is Lucas and I'm responsible for the visuals, animation and some minor gameplay and character ideas in the game. Also I'm absolutely new to the forum (except for some lurking now and then).
First of all i want to say how exciting it is for me, to see so much positive feedback to our little project. I want to thank you all for the support and all the good words. To see such a reaction to something that for both of us is a traning tool is minblowing (and a little scary ;) ).
I love the idea of creating worlds from the ground up. To this day I remember how for me as a kid, those few pixels in Winnie The Pooh for Atari made for belivable and immersive place to have fun in. Then, all the now classic, adventure games came out and made most of my childhood a fun and sometimes scary ride.
Now we are here, adding our little brick to this great genre and it feels awesome. I hope you will like it, even as a short fun distraction.

Cheers,
Parafia
