This is a nice sprite and doesn't need anything so drastic as removing the whites of his eyes or anything, I think they are just a tad too white, that's all.

All I did was picked a slightly darker, warmer tone just to show what I mean:

My edit:

Not a big change I know, but it does make a difference. You could even make it a bit more dark and warm if you felt like it.

I saw a guy with a devil beard today! :o

He may have also had a Devil's Haircut, but Beck never made clear what one of those looked like.Ã,  :-\

I hear the devil's haircut is actually a hell toupee.

Yes, that's all I have to say. Shut up.

Because you like MEAT and you're right in doing so.

You know what I don't see anywhere?

Apathy.

That's what I'm feeling right now. Apathy.

Some of us prefer them huge!

It's not the size of the button, it's how you use it.

By which I mean, in a thread about hints for your game. Of course.

First, let me start off by saying I love your art style a lot. I really like this sprite, but there seem to be a few, little issues with anatomy. Unless I'm reading it wrong and his arms are bent, it looks like his hands fall at his waist, which would make them way too short. Make his elbows rest where his sleeve ends and lengthen his arm so that his fingertips fall mid-thigh and that anatomy issue will be dealt with. If his arms are bent, I would suggest emphasising where his elbows bend by adding a darker shade there, so people don't think his arms are just short.

Other than that, I wouldn't want you to change a thing. It fits your background style very well. I like it.

Don't be ridiculous. Nerds don't have enough money to be scientologists. You might as well be asking "Is anyone here a MILLIONAIRE? And if so, will you send Pesty thousands of monies?"

What I'd suggest as far as the games are concerned is to make a list of them. Most NES games go for about $5-8, cheaper for some of the more common or undesirable ones (like the football ones and, like, Remote Control and stuff) and $10-20 for the rarer and popular ones (Metroid, Maniac Mansion, things like that). SNES games are generally more expensive for some reason, but not by much. I saw a place trying to sell them for $40 a pop, but I doubt you'll get anything like that unless you have something everyone wants. I don't recommend taking them to any used game dealerships, since they won't give you a good deal ever on anything. I'm unsure about the Sega games, since my Sega is broken and I haven't been as interested in collecting the games as I have the NES ones (even though I've generally liked Sega games better).

As a collector, I'd like to see what you have. I might be interested in buying some from you if you have anything cool.

We'll see. I'm bringing my plaster of paris and a makeshift grappling hook. The sass ends, even if it's going to take all night.

Your implements of torture do not frighten me, Greek! Sass will win the day!!

Nikolas, if this is what I think it is about, just threaten your wife with even more violence and you'll be ok, she'll never press charges. It's the greek way.

I WOULD PRESS CHARGES WITH MY FIST IN YOUR GREEK FACE.

I'd beat you to an inch of your life and you'd love me for it. Surefire way to end the sass. Nikolas knows what I'm talking about, right Nik?

Nothing ends my sass! It is INVINCIBLE.

This is a very mysterious thread! What could Nikolas possibly need legal advice for!

The second sprite he made was the non-entry. His first one counts.

The power of omni-presence! I like the fact in IRC you can be away but technically "still there". So it'd be great to be away from everybody but technically still right next to them :P

You'd just use it to spy on girls and you know it.

Your girlfriend seems to have spilled something on her shirt.

Also, another fine example of Myspacing a picture.

However, you can't deny that the games that Herculean Effort have made are some of the nicest and most polished available on AGS. So it's the tagline in combination with that fact that the problem sets in. It just comes across wrong - in much the same way as my pixellated boobs do to you.

This sounds to me like it's less bb and geoff's problem and more a problem with yourself (and I'm addressing everyone who has a problem with their tagline, not just you). You see them as very talented people who made some nice games and so their tagline reflects arrogance because you assume they feel the same way about their games and skills as you do, when in reality I'm sure they don't think of themselves the same way at all. I highly doubt that they think of themselves as "the best", no matter if that's the best game makers in the universe or even just the best amateur adventure game makers.

Whether you take it that way or not, their tag line is a joke. It's self depreciating Ã, humor in a round-about way. Calling themselves "the best" makes it obvious that it's a joke and they do not, in fact, consider themselves the best.

Oh no, my post seems useful. I'd better remedy this:

EVERYBODY SHUT YOUR FAT FACES I'M SICK OF SEEING THIS THREAD.

No. She's a fatty.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm joking.

I already made that joke. Shut your face.
