I think I see Crowded House, Cypress Hill, and the Dead Kennedys. I don't think any of those have been mentioned (I didn't look at the spoilers).

Quote* Some garlic -- come on, there's plenty of vampire games out there.

Were there some garlic in any Adventure games? There'll be some garlic in my upcoming Christmas game, though.

Quest for Glory 4 has quite a bit of garlic.

Although I didn't take the pictures, as I lack a camera at the moment, this is what I see when I go outside:

General Zod from Superman 2 (not the comic version, who is a pansy and should always be ignored always).

Either him, or Winnowill, who is probably the most evil comic book character I have ever seen.

Allow me to officially apologize for the quality of my mic. Hopefully it is not too hard to hear my totally awesome jokes!

Yeah, I'd love to hear Grundislav do an interview with the guy who made the Ben Jordan games. It'd be very entertaining.

Holy crap, I am dumb tonight. I apologize for the double post. I just HAD to replace 'tentacle' with 'kangaroo penis' and there I go screwing things up!

I GUESS IT IS WHAT I DO.

HahahahahaWHAT THE F..... What is going on in your avatar, man?

::nightmares::

That's two creepy av's in one night. I've had enough. Bed for me....

The best part about that is that Mr. Colossal made the animation that I stole as my avatar. You just fear him subconciously!

Either that or the idea that Supergirl is being molested by a kangaroo penis coming out of someone's pants is somehow disturbing to some people... but I do not see how that could be.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Leaving Las Vegas. The majority of people in this thread have said Cage sucks and no one has even mentioned Leaving Las Vegas, one of the most harrowing and most beautiful films about love... one of the most harrowing about alcoholism. The same movie in which Roger Ebert said in his review, "Cage, a resourceful and daring actor, has never been better." The same movie in which Cage won his Best Actor Oscar along with nearly every other Best Actor award for that year.

I don't care how many National Treasures or The Family Mans he makes. The fucker can act. He's got potential. He got game. Leaving Las Vegas is bullseye proof of that. End of story.

Hey remember that movie "Honeymoon in Vegas" where he was married to Sarah Jessica Parker and it was all Indecent Proposal-ed and stuff? I still to this day confuse it with "Leaving Las Vegas" when people talk about it, which leads to some hilarious misunderstandings!

I don't think he's a bad actor. He's certainly no Dennis Hopper. Even though I hated the movie, he was good in Adaptation.

And because he was mentioned, I have a feeling that my destiny in life is to explode Ben Affleck somehow. That'll take that smug look he always has off his face, that's for damn sure. And I'll be all "WHO'S SQUINTING AND CHUCKLING STUPIDLY NOW, AFFLECK!"

Come now, I don't think your mother would appreciate being called "easy".Ã,  :o

(please don't tell me that you learned that in grade school...)

It could've been something else, I dunno... What I wrote fits well enough, though!

If they don't name this new 'planet' (its probably more like a huge asteroid or something. I don't think even Pluto is big enough to actually be classed as a planet) it simply must be named Rupert.

Pluto was (or is still, I don't know) going to be declassified as a planet due to it's size. However, it's been known as a planet for so long, they still consider it a planet, because otherwise my very easy mother wouldn't have just served us nasty pies. She would've just served us nasty.

But now she can serve us nasty pie x... xylophones?

Kinoko, unless you proposed like this, there's no way you surprised him as much as you could've.

Just out of curiousity, the gladitorial arena in Gladiator Quest, that is a room, isn't it?Ã,  It seems to be at least a 2 room game, which is a really odd reason to be disqualified, but I just want to be sure about what I could vote on.

I would say that the arena portion, being a mini game, is allowed by the rules.

Quote from: scotchBy a room, we do not necessarily mean one crm file. If you want to use other rooms for effects such as time passing, changes in the style of the room, minigames such as the sniper mode in 6DA etc, that's fine but the bulk of the game should be centered around one location.

The puzzles and story telling part of the game take place in the prison, the arena is just an additional minigame.

We use Yahoo Instant Messenger and a webcam to video chat with my brother in law's brother who's currently in Iraq. We got the audio to work only once, so I don't know about that, but it's good to be able to at least see each other and type. Since the only mac I own is a Mac Classic (System 6 in the hizzy, yo), I really don't know if it will work, but I thought I'd share my solution to a similar problem.

That's great too! I still think Kiss just nail it on the head though :) I'm listening to it right now and... well, I've changed my mind. It is without a doubt the greatest rock song ever.

Dude, no way. Wyld Stallyns totally rocked that song hardcore!

"Pedantic" is the
word that best describes this Mr.
Paul Henry. That or "ass".

Bill Watterson is not Jim Davies. He seems, on the whole, a reasonable, ethical fellow. It can't hurt to ask permission BEFORE you start it, which is what I would do. He might appreciate it more than you expect, so long as you don't sell it.

That aside, I agree that you shouldn't do a Calvin and Hobbes game. I would play it if you made it, but I would much rather see you make something original, perhaps being inspired by Calvin and Hobbes. Nothing is stopping you from taking your story and applying it to different, original characters.

scroll down to SEGATA SANSHIRO at the bottom.

These ads make up for every possible bad game ad in existence, notably the bomberman, Soccer RPG and final advertisments.

I think you all missed this post, since you're obviously not blown away by the awesome. There is so much awesome in those commercials that even I can barely handle it!

Also: http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=110 They have my favorite commercial ever, even though it's very bad quality.

Now why doesn't it surprise me that the Captain came up with the name?

Has he even been to a Mittens? He is cordially invited to the 2008 one being held behind my house!
