I can truly say it's the most worst thing ever and it will make you cry. You can read reviews and they will agree with me and you'll be like me and think "Oh, golly, it couldn't be that bad!" but you are a naïve Pollyanna and a fool!!

I like that it's a word for gentalia that's the most offensive word ever. I personally think racial slurs are a million times worse than any "cuss" word anyone could say. Just be thankful our forum is free of that kind of attitude.

My sister uses Ortho Evra (the patch) and it messes with your hormones just as bad as the pill. If you don't get it switched at the right time, it screws you all up and then you're stuck with weird effects, like three periods in a row or something. Not fun.

I'm sorry to tell you, Flukeblake, but people don't respond to the things you do because you're under 16. They respond to you because of the way you act. The age limit is not necessarily how old you are, it's how old you act. If you want respect here, you're going to have to stop making threads like this and you're definately going to have to stop bothering the moderators and being rude.
If you don't like the way the moderators do their job, then I'd suggest you try a different forum. This one obviously isn't for you.

Okay, hello! I have decided to start a thread as a service to everyone here, because that is how awesome I am. So what this is is a thread where you can come and list games that you own that you are willing to trade with other people and also list games that you're looking for. And I don't me warez, I mean actual games that you actually own.
Once you find someone who has something you want to trade for and is looking for something you have, PM them about it. I'd rather keep this thread for the lists only, so discussions and bartering about different games should kept to a minimum and be done privately.
The Rules!
1. No warez: This one should be obvious, but I want to reiterate. If you don't own or if you're not willing to part with the original cd, you shouldn't be trading it!
2. Be honest about the condition: I don't want to have to ask you guys to take pictures of your games to prove that they're playable or anything. If it doesn't work for you, let people know this. If it's got a few scratches, but still works fine, don't worry about it as much.
3. Once you trade, edit your posts! You don't want people to think you still have Full Throttle if you traded it already, do you?
4. Only list things you're absolutely sure you want to trade: Don't cause problems by deciding at last minute you want to keep something. If you're unsure, keep it off your list until you decide.

I can't think of anymore, but I'll add them if I do. You guys are pretty awesome, so I have faith you won't screw this up for everyone else. This is just for fun so that people can get games they've always wanted to play for games they've already played!

Edit: I forgot to mention, all of my 'cds only' games have nice paper sleeves. As far as condition on them all goes, they're all playable. If you ask about one, I'll tell you pc specs, if it works on XP, and any scratches it might have.

I don't necessarily agree with that. Bo is a rocker because he makes rock music. Sure, his look goes along with how most rockers look, but that's not what makes him a "rocker", it's his music. Same with those other examples. Someone who raps is a rapper, someone who makes punk music is a punk. It's not the way they look, it's the music they make, or the music they enjoy.

But Bo. Oh, Bo. He sends shivers down my spine. He validates any guilt you may have about watching the show. A true talent.

Agreed. Sure, American Idol is mostly about the money, but when it helps make someone as talented as Bo famous, I'm all for it.

Okay, my secret's out. I'm a fan too. I watched last season some, but it was this season that I really enjoyed, because almost everyone in the final 12 was really talented. Last season, I kept saying "Ugh, how did they make it this far" to most of the people, but this time around, I didn't know WHO I wanted to win until close to the end. However, I could tell Carrie and Bo would make it to the final two from the moment I heard them both, because they're both very professional already.

I agree that Bo doesn't need Idol and of all of the people to ever be on American Idol, Bo is the only one I'd actually buy a record of. His version of Within a Dream cemented that fact for me. But Carrie definately deserved to win, even though if I were to vote, I'd vote for Bo. A very entertaining season, I can't wait for Bo's cd to come out.

Sprite Jam Ahoy!

Theme:Downgrading VGA Sprites

I've had this idea for a while to take a VGA game, like Quest for Glory 3, and downgrade it to EGA art. With so many people wanting to "upgrade" games to VGA, I thought it'd be a nice change for those of us who prefer EGA over VGA. So what I want to see is for you guys to take something from a VGA game and turn it into a EGA sprite.

Size Limit:The average EGA size for whatever sprite you're doing. Usually about half the size of the VGA sprite, but I'll leave the sizing up to you guys. I have faith you won't give me 600x600 sprites.

Color Limit: the standard EGA 16 color palette (http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/websafecolor/ Use the 'named colors' as a reference if you need to)

The only problem I have that nobody else seems to have mentioned is that her left arm is too short. The general rule is if you're standing up straight, your elbow is at your waist and your fingertips are at your mid-thigh. For her stance, lower the elbow a tiny bit and make her forearm longer and she'll look more in proportion. That's just a little nitpick for an otherwise awesome piece. I love the way the hair bounces.
