(DG already said that, Rich, try reading the whole thread before posting :P)

I think Rich was making a joke, since someone already mentioned the "french military victories" thing. Maybe YOU should read the whole thread first, Sassymouth!!

Faking quotes from me, now THAT's low, Pesty!

No, if it were faking quotes from someone like Eric, it'd be low. With you, it's sort of expected of me. I mean, you're AGA.

You should have Mario say stuff like "I'm Mario!" when he looks at stuff, because that's really the only stuff he's ever said in the games. I love the idea of a Mario adventure game and I love your username (I have a secret Jigglypuff toy collection). Definately keep working on this. Babar's idea of a secret walk-through bush for a puzzle is a great idea, too. Not all of the bushes should be walkthrough-able. And yes, colored mouseover icons.

Collect dust. That's a cheaper hobbie. I've got a huge collection already. I'm off to the Annual dust convention now.

Yeah, it's cheap until you get into the real high grade stuff. I still have a bag of dust from the tomb of Tutankhamun that I got for 200 bucks. The guy promised that it got the stuff himself and even though he looked a bit shady, and even though we were in a dark alley and I couldn't see very well, he had an honest face! How could I not go for it!

I wonder why there are so many prongs for a 12VDC power supply - it would seem like there would be a max of three unless it had two other voltage taps.

I could build a power supply - but the heaviness makes me think I wouldn't be able to do it for less than the $50 the merchants listed in that link charge because "heavy as a brick" means "huge ass transformer" and those are expensive.

Bah. Why do all my hobbies end up so expensive? Darn the luck! Darn darn!

Remo: Agreed! The joy I felt upon seeing mine on the shelf was immeasurable. The monitor is adorable. It's smaller than my dog's head!

It's of course not very well known on these forums (not that I'd advertise it or anything), but I personally know Tim Schafer.Ã,  Here are a few of my game boxes he's signed...

With that picture and your avatar, we get double Remothumb action!

Nobody compares to me. I've been emailed by Richard Longhurst.

I looked up pictures of the Apple II to find out what kind of power cord it used - and it's just a regular computer power cord just like every other I've seen. Do a google or go to any local store that carries computer stuff and they'll have them.

The Apple IIc was made to be a portable computer, so it's power cord is a bit different than normal cords. It's a 7 prong little deal, like a PS/2 connector, and I've read that it has a sort of external power supply, like an ac adapter on it. I might be confused, but I know there are just serial ports and PS/2 like inputs on the back of it. I plan on looking at local computer stores (we don't have a lot here) and yard sales and such, but I'm not expecting much luck.

Ever heard of sarcasm?

And btw, to refresh your memory, there is only one programmer.

No! Don't keep perpetuating the myth! CJ is actually a large, well organized group of circus clowns who are filled with a seething hatred for FPS games and made AGS to counteract their popularity. He's Big Brother brought to life!!

Okay, everyone, shut up and listen until I'm finished telling you about how awesome I am.

Today I went out to the ARC Thrift Store, with one thing in mind: I wanted to find an Apple II. Now, I'm a reasonable sort of gal. I didn't expect much. I totally did not expect to find one, especially since it was the first place I looked. But back to the electronics section I went anyway, my little heart filled with hope. Naturally, I made sure they didn't have any NES games I wanted, then made my way into the computers. And upon the shelf, I saw, gleaming like a golden god, an Apple IIc for $30. The tag was blue and today, blue tags were half off! It was destiny, I swear to God, Bitsy. It had no cables, but it had a green and black monitor, as well as the adapter for an RGB monitor. Of course I bought it, as well as a power cable for the monitor and a cable to connect the monitor to the computer. But that was all they had.

I have a feeling that you're all pondering why I brought this up. Aside from bragging, I'd like a bit of help. I still need a power cord for the system itself and I'm also looking for games. I've checked ebay, which didn't have the cord I need. So I'm asking you smarties, does anyone know where I could purchase the cord I need, or maybe even a battery supply, or maybe someone I could purchase them from? Same with the games. I don't have a 5.25 floppy drive on my normal (dead) computer, or I'd figure out a way to make them, so I'm willing to buy Apple II games. If anyone can help me out, I'd be much obliged!

Gil, that's the best picture anyone's every drawn of me, even though it doesn't look anything like me! But seriously, that rules so hard it's not even funny.

Here's a history for you:

Life sucked. AGS was made. Life was mediocre. Pesty joined. Life was awesome.

You don't need to know any more than that.

Yeah, when I was younger, Dune was one of my favorite movies. I don't know. The sets are pretty.

I have never read I, Robot. I have never seen I, Robot the movie. But I used to like Dune.

As for your first question, I think that it's possible for the createdÃ,  personalities to share and trade information between themselves, but the original person generally experiences blackouts, and so would be unable to retrieve information from the other personalities until they were 'integrated'.

And the second question, well, it depends on the subject. They could see themselves as fat and slovenly still, or they could become fit and not understand why or how. Most people who have had split personalities have had them for a long time and have trained themselves not to question strange changes in themselves. For example, If you've ever read the book 'Sybil', Sybil noticed when one of her other personalities got a hair cut, but just ignored it,Ã,  because she was too scared to ask herself how or when it happened.

For question number three, again, it depends on the subject. One of Sybil's personalities 'kept' the multiplication tables she learned when she was a child. The Sybil personality never knew, or remembered, at least, the times tables, so whenever she would have to multiply something, she would switch personalities or just not be able to do it.

I'm not a psychologist, so I don't know for sure about any of these answers. This is just what I've learned because this sort of thing interests me.
