Another great game from Yahtzee. Great suspense, seriously. Although, I have a bug. Yes, I submit to peer pressure.

After entering the doctor's bedroom and seeing his gross-o-matic room, I missed the access card. I went back up to talk to Adam and they started talking about the letter when I entered the room! And then I had the access card! It was like a shortcut, but not the fun kind. The kind that makes me miss out on the story! After you get the access card, it goes along fine, however.

Most of the games I played before 1997 were won without any walkthroughs. One time we call the hintline, sometimes we had guide books, but not often. Because there are so many, I can't list them all. FOA, Sam and Max, the Dig, Full Throttle, DOTT, every Monkey Island game, all of the Kings Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry and Quest for Glory games (except KQ5. That was the one game we called the hintline for), Princess Tomato (no, I can't make a post about adventure games without mentioning it).

I want to say yes SO hard, but I am sure I will dissapoint, especially since I've never done anything isometric. But the chance to work with Captain Mostly...Very tempting!

Allow me to reiterate that Callahan's Crosstime Saloon is the best, beating out even my all time favorite adventure game, Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom. It's story, humor and puzzles outshine any other game I've played.

Man, if I were going I would SO conquer that island and declare it as my own.

I'm going to have to agree with Captain Mostly here. The books were NOT influenced by drugs (read any biography on Charles Dodgeson and you'll see) and they were actually very innocent stories. As a person who's had an obsession with the books for quite a few years now, I've studied quite a lot about the matter.

The reason I liked the game was because of how dark it was compared to the original stories. I felt like it was less of a "sequel" and more of a stand-alone story based on the stories.

A Captain Mostly website brings me joy! I have won the prize and I cannot wait to find out what it is! Especially if it is seizure inducing (good thing I don't have seizures!)!
