I'm uploading a rar-file containing all of my photos (resized), so people don't have to go and save all of my photos one by one. I'm hoping other people do this as well, and if not, expect a PM from me in the near future. Yes, I'm lazy and don't feel like saving hundreds of photos one by one!

Here are the couple of photos I took. If some of the photos aren't working, let me know and I'll fix them.

I beg Disco, Becky, m0ds and Sinitrena (+anyone else I might have forgotten) to post their photos.

I did my best to get along with everyone, drunk or not. I even got quite drunk myself twice, and that's not something I usually do. I knew the group would split in two on several occasions, and I usually had hard time deciding which group to join. Sometimes, though, people just started gathering around a couple of people, like when Dominika and me had a discussion about differences between languages. Then people just started gathering around us, and BLAM! A new group had born. I guess it just happens.

On the other hand...

The small niggles we've experienced ths year - and we've had 5 years without a single frownline so far so we're doing pretty damn well - will be forgotten in weeks and we'll only remember all the great bits such as 6 storey yellow enema slides, bone-shaking rollercoasters, spinning hammer rides of joy, flipping people over on the rapids, waterslide races, Eugene and his Bionic Arm, The Adventure Game Movie (lost in production), Exorcising Kings Quest 7, Bohemian Rhapsody vs. Acceptable Noise Pollution Levels, CJ's face as a memorabilia cereal bowl, Insane bus drivers and their ticket despensers, fun with curry, Italian Music Video critique (it's the same frigging drum sounds!), Arse Arse Arse, discovering water is secretly highly flammable, taking a boat to the island (Red Cross version), taking a real boat to the island, Bar Celona, "All you CAN eat, not all YOU WOULD LIKE to eat", Cow Trading, The AGS Male Low-Note Drone Choir and countless other nuggets of greatness that can only happen at Mittens - I'm sure there are many more people can add.

Thanks for the list! I had already forgotten some of those things!

My photos should be up in the end of this week.

EDIT: To clarify, I didn't get drunk to just to get along with people. I just went to get a couple of drinks with people, and it just kind of happened.

I just arrived in Stockholm and am a zombie. I'm not sure if I should go to school tomorrow (or actually later today) or not. On the other hand, Mittens 2006 was probably the best thing that I've ever experienced, seriously. I've got a couple of photos, but only a couple. I can't upload them in a while though, but a couple of other people had cameras there as well. CJ, post the group photo before anything else!!1

Ah, what could I say! I wish it hadn't ended yet, it was so great to see the old buddies again and meet the new people (I've got most of you in my MSN contacts already, but if the rest of you want to add me, the address is in my profile). So much stuff happened, and yet it felt like the whole thing went by in a whim. I could start a list of quotes and highlights here, but nah. You'll just have to wait, har!

My journey has already began!1 I'm at the airport in Helsinki at the moment, it seems I've been cursed to stay overnight at airports whenever I travel abroad to meet AGSers.

But it's all getting very exciting! Due to recent events in my life I haven't had the time to think about Mittens yet, but today it struck me when I was sitting in a bus: I'm going to Mittens and it'll be swell! I got very excited.

I had to leave quite fast, so I packed my luggage yesterday. Unfortunately, I remembered that I forgot to pack some of the stuff I was supposed to bring, including a copy of Runaway: The Road Adventure for the Mittens super quiz. Nothing too important though.

But anyways! See you guys tomorrow, I'll try to come up with something to do here. I suddenly feel like having a beer, and I don't even like beer.

Right, so I've got a similar situation to that of CJ's, I'm moving out tomorrow and won't have internet connection in a while. So, if anything very important happens and I should be aware of it, drop me a message or a call, Mitteneers 2005 should all have my number.

I took up on your offer because Nacho said it'll be cheaper to share a tent, and I'd really like to save as much money as possible because I'm only a poor student nowadays and I really need money to buy noodles and tuna back at home. But I guess it's okay if you leave your tent home, m0ds. I'll just crash into someone else's tent, or perhaps sneak into bathroom and sleep there.

Radiant, I compiled a brief list earlier in this thread, dunno if you missed it.

Here's a list of people who are coming via Alicante airport and meeting up (in order of arrival):

6:45 Sinitrena
13:25 Petteri
14:10 Helm
16:00 Grundislav
16:45 Radiant
17:20 Chrille

Naturally we'll be waiting for everyone in front of the hall of arrivals when they arrive. You'll recognize me of longish brown hair and an A4-sized Bluecup poster + way too much clothes to wear in Spain. There's a bus leaving from the airport at 17:30 so we'll probably miss it briefly. The next bus to Benidorm would leave around 21:00 (!), so Grundislav and I were planning that we could take a bus to Alicante city and another bus from there to Benidorm. Grundislav and Lorena know more about this route.

So I've got a Bluecup poster I try to keep visible around the time people arrive, but I have no idea what kind of a place/how big the airport is. The best bet would be to gather around the arrival hall around the time people arrive and meet them as soon as they step out, or?

We ARE still going to Terra Mitica though, right? At least those of us who want to go, it would be stupid to travel all the way to Benidorm and then miss all those kickass rollercoasters and rides.

I'll bring a game or two from my game collection, or do like I did last year and buy a cheap prize at the airport. This year I'll try to pick the easiest questions!

Waterpark yay! Also, I can't wait to visit Terra Mitica!

Matt, if you want to include more specific travel routes in your post, my flightmare is following:

Helsinki, Finland - Stockholm, Sweden (7:15 - 7:20)
Stockholm, Sweden - Oslo, Norway (8:05 - 9:00)
Oslo, Norway - Alicante, Spain (9:30 - 13:25)

It's a silly route, but overall the best one I could find so It might get a tad confusing to include everyone's exact travel routes though, so I guess "Finland - Alicante" is okay. On the other hand, Sinitrena, I'm coming to Alicante via Norway on Scandinavian Airlines flight SK 4675, so you might want to keep an eye on that flight and be ready to greet me when I arrive!

Also I think Helm arrives in Alicante at 14:10 on the 16th.

I got stuck! In the first introduction screen (The birthday for King Alexander...) and I couldn't Alt+Tab out, even Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't work so I had to press reset. I might try the demo again if you promise it won't crash more.

This try goes a bit better, but moments later the kite gets stuck in that tree.


Finally, I move up on the roof, and the kite flies beatifully!

EDIT: knowing from where/on which flight people are coming might help, I remember last year people didn't know that I was coming via Zürich so they went to look for me in the wrong hall of arrivals.
