I might argue with Halloween and Thanksgiving being Christian holidays since both of them are only celebrated in America, am I right?

No, you're not.

I was supposed to have this one project scripted by the end of the month so I could send it to dialog writers and stuff, but real life (tm) didn't really like that idea. Long story short, I had very little inspiration to work on this. And when I actually was eager to work on it again a couple of days ago, something silly happened that prevented me from working on it! Blargh!

So for now, here are a couple of screenshots.

Enjoy.

A custom made t-shirt, with one of Inkoddi's drawings printed on it.

Oh yeah.

Wow, cool clips! Very neat trailer of Skanked Up, lots of material I hadn't seen before. Ginger in the Dark was a nice short movie, similar to something I have tried to film with my friends a couple of times.

Keep it up, pal. I'm looking forward to your upcoming stuff, as always. :)

- The fact that my local "game store" (it's not a real game store, k) still hasn't got a copy of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.
- Lack of game boxes and manuals, as Tom said (though GBA and DS games come with good manuals \o/).
- The fact that my Nintendo doesn't work very well anymore.
- Expensive games.
- The lack of neat game cover images (ie. Loom, Faxanadu, The Legend of Zelda... all have AWESOME cover images).

Oh yeah.

I was supposed to have somethingsomething scripted by the end of this month so I could pass it along to dialog writers and stuff, but then I found myself knee-deep in requests for music. And because I have a job, I can't work on game stuff all day long! And there are some games I'm supposed to play! But I'll try my bestest!

Farlander, you do understand all these people are just trying to slow down the production of your game? They want you to never finish a game!

As for the walkcycle, it's quite awesome. So is the dog. I can't wait to see them in the actual game!

It's more than themes only and it's only about video game tunes. As for movies and programs:
- MacGyver
- Bucky O' Hare
- Darkwing Duck
- Duck Tales
- Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
- The X-Files
- Batman (the movie, by Tim Burton)
- The Green Hornet
- Pulp Fiction

Hehe, that guy owned the small store near the bus stop. I tried to buy a bottle of water but he didn't have any change to give back! Then he closed the store, took his guitar and wandered off. And I had to wait until we got back to the airport to get a drink. That guy played us a tune, I remember that, but I don't remember which tune it was.

Also, I should mention that my Mittens report IS finished, but the next next issue of the AGS ezine is heavily delayed.

Alsoalso, Dominika? Goldmund? Any chance to see your photos?

But our bags of crisps are also HUGE. I mean, HUGE. I doubt even Haddas could eat a megabag by himself at one go.

And gas-stations are expensive places anyways.

Comfort Quest :o

Hehe, sounds neat, and looks too! Poke me on msn sometime if you're in desperate need of music, I'd like to compose more piratey tunes.

Apparently, it's a known fact that they don't have Sour cream & onion flavoured crisps in Greece. I remember trying to find those in a couple of different markets in Agia Anna, with Helm and Adam.

I guess I have boring taste as my favourite crisps are plain salted and sour cream & onions. I haven't dared to try those exotic flavours like ketcup and stuff.

And on the topic regarding peanuts (or peanus, what ever you prefer), I remember begging my mum to buy some peanut butter years ago. I always thought it would taste sweet, but BAH! It was horrible and after the almost full jar had been in the fridge for weeks my mum finally tossed it away.

*bump*

I was listening to 'A Million Exploding Suns' by 'HORSE the band' and this part of the song sounds super familiar! I'm pretty sure it's from some Nintendo game, but I can't remember which one... and it's driving me crazy! I'm sure there are some Nintendo nerds who will recognise this melody and know from which game it was. Tell me! Tell me before I go crazy!

EDIT: Recognisd! Apparently, it's from Bionic Commando. Hooray.

When I saw the whole thing about anyone being able to make the game I instantly thought about a silly joke game a la DGMacPhee.

I found my first ever AGS games!

Beware.

Old, old stuff, made back in 2001. I think there should be music playing in the background, but I don't hear it on XP. Also, ph33r my l337 animating skills!

Haha, I remember having so much trouble when trying to figure out how to add inventory items to your inventory. Oh, memories.

The Games Factory suckz0r.

I haven't tried Multimedia Fusion myself, but Urban Joe is awesome and as it's made using MMF, it must be a very good program.

The art quality is really quite low for commercial adventure games and lacks the character that almost every commercial adventure game has had.

The game was going to be freeware.

I'm definately going to see it as soon as I can. It has done better than LotR-trilogy in Russia so I'm very interested in seeing it. Though I probably have to wait for ages until it arrives my town (or maybe not, after all it's BIG and big movies always make it here faster).

Let us know what you think of it after having seen it, m0ds! I'd like to hear some opinions from people who have seen it.

Yay for entries!

I don't have time to comment on every entry, but there were some very neat entries. But...

A WINNER IS YOU! (Ashen)

Congrats, your Mittens 1947 photoshop made me giggle, but not because I'm in that picture, honest.

Thanks everyone who made an entry, very nice of you. Ashen, go host a new compo.
