I just tried out the demo and I must say I'm very excited about this game. The graphical style is excellent, I simply love it. The music is also very good and fitting. Actually, only thing that bugged me was that some of the sentences in game didn't start with capital letter. :P

Keep up the good work, I'll be eagerly waiting for the full game!

Whoo, my tickets have arrived!

Chrille and everyone else arriving before the morning of 15th, we shall meet at the airport. Chrille, I'll try to catch you on MSN sometime.

Farlander, I guess we are able to find some free seats where to sleep/try to sleep over the night. Not probably very comfortable (as I remember from last year) but the army has made it possible for me to sleep in very uncomfortable situations so I guess we get atleast a couple of hours of sleep...

Ah, glad to hear that, then.

I've booked my tickets now. I will arrive the airport of Athens at 11:55 PM on 14th and my flights back to Finland will depart from Athens at 10:35 PM on 22th. I guess I get to sleep at the airport again even though I promised myself last summer never to do it again... Well, I'm definately coming now, see you all there!

I must book my tickets now. If I don't I have to wait two weeks and that probably won't be such a good idea... so, I really hope he dates won't change now!
#525
I was about to book the flights today but as Helm hasn't book the campsite yet I decided to leave the booking for tomorrow. So tomorrow I will do so! I hope the dates really are confirmed by then...

Chrille! How cool to hear you're probably coming!

Hey, you remember my adventure-game-loving-friend who is registered here as Skippy? Well, he hasn't had an access to internet in a while but he said he would still love to attend Mittens so it would be cool if you could count him in as a probable (for now, he will post here when he can).

EDIT: Eep, Skippy just said he isn't going. He said the biggest problem was that nobody (except me) knows him. Oh well, but that doesn't stop me from coming!

I'm coming. I've got the money, I've got the time and I've got a tent. Of course if the tent is too heavy I have to leave it.

Anytime in August is fine with me. The area looks lovely too, I couldn't imagine a better place where to spend a week of summer.

Anything new on this matter? I don't want to sound like an impatient little kid but I will be away 6th - 23rd of June and I'd like to book the flights before that.

Didn't we have good weather when some of us went up to London - I remember buying Ice Cream in Hyde Park with Pessi, Magintz, Chris, Scummbuddy?

That was me, not Scummbuddy. :P

I suffer as I can not go, but sadly I won't be free of the army until 8th of July... the Brittens event for this year is looking awesome though, I hope you all will have loads of fun there.

I got mine last week!

But only today I got around listening to it since I haven't been at home during the past two weeks... The album is most excellent, great stuff Neil! Keep it up!

Hey Danny, how is it going? It's been quite a long time, neat to have you back again. I hope you get things sorted soon and have more time for AGS!

Welcome back!!

You know, I've heard quite a lot of your tunes and I must say many of your tunes sound like they are made for a Snes-RPG. If I was to make a Terranigma/Chrono Trigger-type RPG I know who I would ask to make music for it.

As for this tune, it is like straight from from Terranigma and that's enough to make me happy. In other words, excellent, I don't find anything wrong with it.

If you want to try and improve it though you could try panning the instruments a bit.

Awesome, keep composing, I will be listening your tunes.

Sounds pretty good, and Caribbeanish too.

In places it sounds a bit empty though. The parts where the melody stops kind of breaks the flow of the tune. I suggest you get rid of those gaps.

You could also try adding more instruments. Something like flute or strings playing on the background would make an improvement. You said you made it in Fruity Loops, I could possibly try and make an edit of the tune if you could send me the project file (you could export the tune as a zipped loop package, that way the needed instruments would be included in the file.)

Keep up the good work.

That was sweet! I really enjoyed the game overall. The music created great atmosphere and the graphics worked very well. I really liked the puzzles too and I'd like to see more that kind of puzzles in adventure games. Scripting was top notch too and I was actually expecting that knowing your earlier games.

Very neat job, keep it up. I'd like to see a longer game like that. Waiting for your next product...

You know I'd love to go again but as I'm planning to attend the actual Mittens I guess I have to pass Brittens this year. And if you are planning to have Brittens sometime in June I can't attend anyways. It would be sweet to meet again at "the campsite" though, it's a lovely place.

QuotePlus you'd need some money to get from the airport to the camp site, I can't remember how much that cost.

Last year it was only £2 from Heathrow to Staines and about £1 from Staines to Laleham if I remember right. Matt Goble would be the best one to provide the correct information though.

QuoteI'm raising that this year to TEN pounds, simply for the fact the food situation has been awful the other two years and I've had to spend a lot of my own money on food, which I'm not prepared to do this year.

Good idea. The monday morning last year we had only biscuits and milk to eat for breakfast. :P

Hehe CJ. I know Skippy personally, he is a good friend of mine. He has heard me talking about AGS for a couple of years now (¬¬) and he knows quite a lot about the community and the program itself. I mentioned him about the upcoming Mittens and he said he would like to go aswell so I persuaded him into registering here on the forums. :P

And there's still few months before Mittens happens, I bet he will get to known you all better!

Oh sweet, it's Mr. Bungle! Glad to see you're back again.

And 2ma2 too! Though I noticed it earlier...

Anyways, welcome back, both of you! :)

Yet another modified version, probably the final for now as this was mostly a practice piece.

I'm still not sure about adding noise to the sand. It doesn't look bad but my point was to make this picture using my tablet only and no filters. Scotch made another neat paintover but as it would be quite a lot of work for me to imitate it, I'll just let it be. But it's another thing to keep in mind for the future.

Good points Andail. I shall keep those things in mind too for my future works.

Thanks for the comments everyone, keep them coming.
