The Rumpus Room / Re: The MSPaint game

That's right - meet the amazing no-neck man (no - this is not a dig at remixor, although I realised all too late that nearly every single member of the community will pick up on this...)

should you ever be in a position that requires a five-pixel-wide character with no neck and an overly-circular head, then this is your man. He also likes to wear his bright blue underwear on his head, which is an advantage for the unfortunate people who mistake the nose for genitalia...

NEXT: That is the LAST time I pick the kids up from school, Wanda!"

I like it when her face totally blacks out, and just the eyes are left. Though I'm pleased you got rid of the second blink; it was a bit patronising for me. The first time she blinked I thought "cool! this rocks!" then "oh- wait. no - not you again! I thought you were over! Go away you silly red eyeballs!" Anyway, the point is, I love the finished product, but maybe fade the face to black? (Doesn't really bother me. Looks awesome either way)

whoop-da-do-da-loo-lee-lay!

Take your time, Penguin. We will live without logos, I swear. Well, I will, anyway. I know several other AGS'ers might feel...er...differently...

OKay, this is pointless.

No one's going to enter this late into the competition, so I might as well close it here.

The winner (surprisingly) is Sluggo. Rumplestiltskin was the last tale I would have thought of, but it worked out well, and it was an excellent interpretation. It really shone out from all the others.

So I hand the trophy back to you. Make us proud with a new competition, sluggo.

MAKE SOMETHING PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY ENTER (;) - smiley for no real reason)

I have no idea why, but I keep imagining the Earth with an erection when I see Magintz's... :D

Quotealot of them seem to think that anything like Harry Potter , Magic The Gathering , and Jar Jar Binks is the work of the devil.

I know what you mean, but it's a bit unfair to say "a lot". People think this because they only hear what's on TV (Which is always the extremists). You'll find that most christians don't really have an opinion on H.P (or Magic or Jar Jar), other than that it's silly and for kids. But then again, "a lot" of non-christians think that as well...

On the whole, I like Michael Moore, and I hope this film DOES end up getting released, though I was less than overjoyed with the Columbine movie. It was good, but sections of it were (as a documentry-maker says [I forget his name]) "a showcase for Moore's ego". Parts of it were questionable.

But I appreciate that it's impossible to do an entirely objective documentary, and moore was deliberately giving his spin on it.

I hope 911 goes forward. Even if it's manipulative. I just find the whole topic really interesting, and he is fantastic at putting forward controversial slants on things.

aaah. I see....

I guess that's okay then.... sort of :P

I was worried that the tune contest would just go down the drain :-(

well THIS was bloody successful...

The DaVinci Code is great, yes! It's the sort of book that had the potential to be really REALLY crappy and fake and unbelievable, but it was pulled of well!

For one of my Eng Lit courses at uni I had to read "I'm not scared" by Niccolo Ammaniti. It's not the sort of book I'd choose to read of my own accord, but I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

As sad as this sounds, I'm about halfway through the Encyclopedia Britannica Series, as well.  Volume 14: Arctic - Biosphere. It's not INTERESTING, but I promised myself I would do this. I don't know why. Maybe I just don't have a life....

Love the Left Behind series. Totally brilliant!
Hugest fan of Discworld ever!
Also the Earthsea Quartet by Ursula le Guinn. She's a fantastic writer.
The Myst books aren't bad, though I've read better.
Lord of the Rings, as always.
Lord of the Flies, too.
One flew over the Cuckoo's nest - brilliant work
How to kill a mockingbird - for the millionth time :)

They're the most recent one's I've read...

Tv shows that get made into movies are nearly always bad - ie: Pokemon, THE MOVIE; The Wild Thornberry's, THE MOVIE; Rugrats, THE MOVIE....

They just take the (normally good) qualities of the show and screw them up completely. Not that I'm saying pokemon has any good qualities... they just screwed the bad ones up even more...

I'd say milk is by FAR more nutritional than a film...

"In Harlequin Fetuses, the free edges of the upper and lower eyelids are everted, leaving the eyes at risk for desiccation and trauma. The term "harlequin" derives from the newborn's facial expression and the triangular and diamond-shaped pattern of hyperkeratosis. The newborn's mouth is pulled wide open, mimicking a clown's smile."

at least that's what the site said... very sad... and to think people can have the audacity to make FUN of it...

I.....am lost....

But I shall nod in agreement with whatever Gilbot said. Whatever it was...
#457
thank you :D *feels like a p3n15*

THAT'S IT!! NO ONE'S HACKING!! IT'S THE SILLY BOARD!

try posting the word (letter after 't').s.a, or (letter after 'q').i.p

relax, hyde. You are safe.... it's this dumb txt-style garbage...

oops. double post. oh well - at least it gives you a chance to see what I mean...

I remember seeing what Hyde is talking about. I read his u.s.a thread and it was most definitely u.s.a, not you.s.a.

I doubt it's your ex, because if she hated you so much, she'd do something REALLY mean, like post your naked baby photos or something, not just change the spelling of r.i.p

oooh! SHABZ!!! TELL ME WHAT IT'S LIKE!

okay - that probably sounded really stupid, but I've always wanted to meet someone who did that, and I want to know how much it hurts... not that I'm going to try it...
