I like the face picture, but it doesn't quite capture the same essence as
the full body walk-cycle (as Zor so kindly pointed out).

In the face, she looks so 'innocent and pure', whilst in the walk, she
seems very independant and strong-willed and sexy-ish.

The other thing I noticed in the face is the left eyebrow (from the
viewer's perspective). It's hard to distinguish where the eyebrow
ends and the shadow starts. You can see it if you look hard, but I
feel it should be clearer. They eyebrows also seem too drastically
different in colour from the hair, and the hair on the face seems much
lighter than the hair in the walkcycle, but that could just be the
difference in lighting...

*Agrees with Steve*

(1) doesn't fully lead on from the conversation... GOG is meant to confirm whether or not any other man WOULD have done as Lance did, but then proceeds to explain how lance somehow 'sold out' his race. While this is undeniably funny, the connection isn't there. (Maybe there IS a connection, but the reader/player isn't aware of it yet. In this case, something needs to be done so the player isn't going "wtf?")

And, sadly, I have to agree about the length of the speak-options. I understand that most of the humour comes from the laughably long sentences, but unless you want the dialog options thingy to take up half the screen (or use ultra-small fonts that are rendered un-readable) you need to cut them down a bit.

An example (obviously these are just off the top of my head - so I'm not going for quality. Just quantity):

1. I....guess so...

2. Could you justify selling off the entire human race instead?

3. Maybe, but could you affirm that I wasn't swindled first?

4. No. Say something totally irrrelevant to throw me off.

my girlfriend walks around all the time and i often look at her chest...

I know she's your girlfriend, but it sounds like you appreciate her breasts more than her face... ;D

The boobs shouldn't be RUBBER! They have to have a sort of firmness about them, but, as eric said, she needs a bounce in the step. Speaking from the point of gravity, when the breasts go DOWN in the stepward motion, gravity would want to KEEP THEM DOWN, despite the rest of the body going up, so there should be the slightest of slight of bounces....

But again - don't let them hit her in the face...

I think the walking itself is fine.....

It just seems weird to me that NOTHING above the hips seems to move (besides the arms). I mean - her boobs don't bounce (from a PURELY anatomical perspective, unless she's wearing a titanium bra, there should be SOME breast movement...), her head doesn't tilt at all, and her hair is weighed down with bees' wax.

If you were to do that, then the torso would be less of an issue.....

But I love the 'feel' of the character... she's very hot, no... sexy, dammit, well endowed, I mean... she's a bombshell...

you get my drift...
#606
???

I guess I'll just have to trust you, sluggo ;D

It better be good... ;) 8)

exactly.

But I hate Bill Gates anyway (for no real reason other than he's rich and famous and wears ugly glasses) so it's always fun to think it's personal.....

As long as you CONTACT the composer, and ask for their permission, and mention that they'll be in the credits, you should be fine......

Most composers are happy enough to hear their music that they won't object.....

Yes - he DOES design them for large amounts of money, but the designing process means he has to know a jolly lot about a computer works: thus he can assemble them relatively cheap for us.

Okay- maybe everyone here missed my point.... OF COURSE I don't believe microsoft intentionally infected my computer and only my computer with 4 viruses. But that is the only [conceivable] way it happened, because nothing else has been NEAR our computer, and he got the windows critical updates blah blah blah, so he's 99.9% sure it wasn't from the net......

I don't understand some of the shading...

why are the shadows in the corner of the room on the diagonal? Is there a light somewhere above?

And why is the main 'spotlight' aiming on the carpet, instead of on the drumset? It seems to me (from the lack of microphone etc) that there is no singer, so the drumset should be setup so the lights focus on it.....

The hi-hat is also a little fat, maybe? It feels like it should be more squashed up. As it is, it looks a little like a golden hamburger....

The door confuses me a little as well. Is the top half painted? or is that shadow? or what? On the note of shadows, even though the shadow on the wall SHOULD overlap the corner of the door, there's no real colour change unless you look really hard at the bottom corner of the 'brown' section of the door... Or maybe my screen's just fuzzy or something...

They're only minor things, but you DID say be harsh.....

we already did the critical windows update and everything prior.

EDIT: Well, my brother did, anyway. I don't know why I put 'we' in there..... maybe I'm just jealous......

He's connected to the internet, yes... but ONLY to download a device driver from microsoft.com

And he's no dummy. He's not the sort of person who accidentally downloads spyware and viruses and stuff. He knows how to avoid it..... unfortunately I don't... but anyway......

I've come to the conclusion that Bill Gates should be forced to have sex with a hungry alligator

It's true.....

Check this out for completely screwed up.

My bro is an electrical engineer, so he builds and assembles computers..... he's in the process of building our family's new computer, and he's instaling Window's XP.

He's installed the basic Device Drivers, and now XP, and Norton Antivirus detected BLASTWORM.exe!!!! as well as three other viruses.....

Since there is NOTHING on the computer except what he got from the (legally bought) cd's from microsoft, it means the virus MUST BE ON THE CD! He's formatted and re-formatted about five times.

how freaking stupid is that?!
#614
Yeah..... #2 has a very unusal "eye size" : "head size" ratio. The eyes are very..... red..... and very...... big...

Number 3 kicks major buttocks, but I like the spiky hair from number one. It looks more punk/evil than the little crew cut porcupine look.

Just my opinion.....

QuoteI don't know what you were aiming at really, but if you have complaints regarding my moderating in the future, please just pm me, and I can explain to you in privacy.

Sorry, Andail. No complaints about your moderating. Simply look at my other posts to see what I mean. I clearly admitted that I had misinterpreted what had happened, and publicly asked for someone to call me a swearword for it.

I would not have done that if I though I was in the right...

As for the not reading the sticky threads, it was just said in jest. I mean - seriously - how many people do you honestly think go to the trouble of reading 4 sticky's labelled "read this first" in Gen Discussion, Crit's Lounge, Technical Questions etc etc...

Just to re-iterate. I am not complaining about your moderation. I was complaining about my momentary dumbness, and simply stating a common fact whilst doing so....
#616
Yup. I checked it. no spyware.

But never fear. The problem seems to have fixed itself?!

All I did was delete Yahoo Messenger and *poof*! Problem solved....

go figure...
#617
Okay. This is really beginning to tick me off, now.

I can only open ONE internet explorer window at a time! Whenever I open a second one, the first one just closes! This means I can only be at one site at a time (which does waste many minutes), I can't click on LINKS in posts, because it just closes the window, and then I have to open it up all over again....

Another strange thing is that the computer says my recycle bin is FULL, even though it is completely EMPTY.

How do I stop this, so I can once again return to my multi-tasking ways?!
#618
Sorry, frogs. But I have my own nefarious scheme to adhere to...

NEXT THREAD: What is YOUR p.i.n number??
