I actually think that's pretty cool.

I know what you mean by 'cheezy melodies', but I think that's the "problem" (wrong word) with this particular topic. Every different melody I try is cheezy, because children, monsters and heroes are all such cliched topics.

I still think this is a fun competition, but it's hard to make something original and effective whilst skipping the cheese.

Bodily fluids of ANY sort are gross, but blood? Further still the blood of a KCUD?

Hmm... now I think about it, there's nothing that makes ducks any more gross than another animal, I suppose. But it's still creepy.

Good grief, I have no idea what game I played first!

I played lots and LOTS of games, without knowing that they were made with AGS. I THINK it was Permanent Daylight (which I thought was super-duper-ultra-cool simply because of the snowman).

Another game I'm not sure about is 'Bert'. Was that made in AGS? It's about a guy who gets fired from his job at some TV station, and he has to break in to the building and teach his boss a lesson.

I'm pretty sure I played Bert before P.D, though I'm not sure if the former was made with AGS or not....

I DO like the sound effect idea. That would be awesome. It's kinda music, but not quite.

And because it's more general than composing an actual song, or animating an actual sprite or anything, I think there would be Many more responses.

This is a FANTASTIC idea for people who like drawing, but if there was a way of incorporating music with it, it'd be even better! Of course, that would probably be out of the question given the artist:musician ratio, but you know..... I think music needs a bigger and better image.....

Trust me. Despite my little crap session, before, I truly am like you in someways (different in others).

Our interests might not be the same, but I used to convince myself that I was a freak of nature, and everybody else was more popular because of stupid reasons, like what sport they liked and what movies they watched etc.

I got really down about that. I used to come home from school, and feel absolutely useless to EVERYONE. Because of it, I became what I classify as a 'bad person'.
I told so many lies to friends, teachers, even complete strangers, just to get attention, so I could 'fit in'. I knew it was wrong, and as a "Christian" (not a full believer at the time) I knew I was also disobeying God, but it felt SO good to have people notice me and think "wow!" or "the poor guy!"

Then, in mid grade 11, I had a miraculous 'make over'. I lost 25 kg, got a new wardrobe (complete with your typical metrosexual stuff) and changed my attitude. I was a new person because of it, but all I NEEDED was to change my attitude. Once that happened, I realised EVERYONE has their own niggling fear that they're a freak. The weight-loss and new wardrobe was great, but it didn't do anything for me as a person.

Just kick yourself in the gut and see how it feels. That's how most people are feeling during the course of a conversation.

My diary entry: Today I was a bum. Figuratively speaking, of course. Being an actual posterior would require major facial reconstruction. I did nothing all day, and I mean NOTHING! I didn't say hello to a single friend, I only left the house for about 10 minutes MAX, and I read about every thread there is in AGS history.

Tomorrow shall be no different (aside going to church, of course). I have to wait until Monday to meet all my friends at uni.
