Another game I got is: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/room.php

I think this one is actually quite interesting.....

Can YOU escape the Crimson Room?

lmao @ Os Último Quão Queijo. That is one of the funniest photos I have ever seen, and I don't even know why.....

Happy B,Day, Inkoddi. You must now join a convent and forever more be a souless, unloved virgin.

Yes, it's kind of like that, I'm afraid.

I wanted to quit after about 5 minutes, but I have that stubborn personality that hates to lose. so I stuck at it, and I think I'm 100% closer to death because of it...

Not impossible, but it might as well be...... I was TEARING MY HAIR OUT over this thing!!

You've probably all seen it anyway, but I was sooo frustrated I just felt compelled to post it. I don't want to be the only insane person today  :-\

Edit: Important to note. This is made with Macromedia Flash and I STILL like it :D (The only Flash I will ever truly love is MX 2004)

Viggo wotsit would make a really good Commander Vimes of the Watch....

Amen!  I can just imagine him saying, "Coporal Nobbs?? What the HELL do you think you're doing?!" Or "DUCK!."

Okay..... I suppose most people can say "duck" without much difficulty.....

But I can also see him playing Ridcully.....

I have always dreamed of a discworld movie... the tv series didn't QUITE live up to what it should have been.

Edit: Okay, so apart from completely failing to address the original topic, I decided that maybe he doesn't quite fit Ridcully, either. Possibly the Dean? Anyway, BACK ON TOPIC, I am COMPLETELY against ANY Batman movie that doesn't have Adam in it. It's like making a LotR sequel with Simon Cowell (sp? I'm not American, after all...) playing Gandalf. "You stupid, STUPID hobbits! What was the point of that?! You are ALL musical CHESSECAKE!" The cast is good, I admit, but they're just hoping a 'new' generation won't remember Adam...

I shut up now :D

That is surely my weirdest, most bizarre tune EVER created. But it is always good to work outside your comfort zone.

Yes, alright..... everyone knows that midi SUCKS, but I can't convert to mp3 JUST yet... (my software has been rather un-co-operative for the last while). In the meantime, you'll have to put up with whatever sounds your computer throws at you... :P It works fine for me, but on my other 'puter, the 'telephone' sound comes out as a pizzicato violin, and other weird stuff happens.

I was basically trying to get across that feel of uncertainty you get in the movies when the phone rings but you don't know who it is, and the victim is at home by herself, ghostly white and blood trickling from her slit wrists.....

ok... that's a bit too dramatic, but you got the idea.

Argh! I talk too much!! Just listen to the crap, already!!

hey!! that 'elgoog' thing is cool..... and to think I'd been missing out on something like that MY WHOLE LIFE!! ARGH!!

I remember googlewhacking a while back too.....

I thought I would post some '1 result found' combinations just because I'm bored:

"Hungarian manslaughterer"
"Loquacious Psuedonymph"
"Melismatic guzzle"

okay...... so psuedonymph isn't a word, I know..... but STILL!!!

Completed Game Announcements / Re:Framed!
Fri 13/02/2004 06:15:54
For a first game, it's darn good effort!!

22 screens is longer than a lot of third-or-fourth-effort games, and (imho) it makes the game more.... diverse (that's not quite the right word...I've got a mental blank).

My ONE comment (simply for the fact that it's unfair to critisize a first attempt too much) would be to spend more time on the Quality of each room, as opposed to the Number of rooms.  I know it's hard to try and condense a game with a plot you've already planned out etc, but people will nearly ALWAYS care more about graphics as opposed to the DIVERSITY of graphics. Maybe 12 screens with some kick-ass graphics would get a better response...

But then we're not all Rembrant are we... (like I can talk :) )

oh crap...... now I have to write a song in 15 minutes.....

General Discussion / Re:Bush Dilemma

Clinton lost his support because he had an affair. Bush lost support because he lied about WMD, killed innocent civillians (indirectly, I know, and it's unavoidable) and looks like a monkey.

Not hard to see which one belongs in the whitehouse...

P.S. Yakspit - Despite the fact that I agree with your post, and everything you have to say is poignant, it does sort of hurt my eyes when I have to SCROLL DOWN to read ONE message... *I can't cope*

The reason her name is Yitar and the prog. is called "Nicole" is because it's an acronym for Nearly Intelligent Computer Operated Language Examiner.

But then again, no one really cares, and even if they DID, this post would still be a bit of a waste...

Amen Ben.

As for earlier posts, it IS true that a lot of the economic problems were forming pro-Bush, but the man could've done a whole lot more to help slow it down (stop it?) as opposed to throwing it all into a war for oil and revenge.
#975
I assume that means your problem is fixed, yes?, given all the 'naughty' words you put in that post.

Still haven't found out what it is called or anything... Anybody else got a clue?
#976
That bites... I mean REALLY bites...

My knowledge on *****es means I can't help you any more than Mills, but you have my complete sympathy...

And I recommend trying what Mills said (like you already haven't??)

Oh... and also, correct me if I'm wrong, but if a w0rm or suchlike is memory-resident, doesn't that mean you can stop it simply by turning off your computer? Or am I dreaming?

Edit: I've emailed the kind folks at Viru5list.com to ask for their help. I (personally) can't find anything, but I trust these people will... I will post a reply when they answer.....
#977
oooooohhh!!  ;D

These ideas keep getting better.....

*runs away to think of character*
#978
Geoff definitely deserved to win this one. His Sam Spade theme ate my shorts!!

not literally, you know.... that would be kinda embarrassing...
#979
Correction, Geoff... I just kinda agreed with you without checking!! ;D

My chord prog is actually: Fm, Ab, Bbm, Fm (repeat)

Sorry for the double post, but people always miss the edits, don't they!!
#980
Geoff!!

Sorry, it wasn't intentional, in fact, even if I wanted to I couldn't...... I've been off the net for over a week, so I haven't been able to log on and check out what other people have done. I've just been working on it while I sit at home waiting for Telstra (grrr) to call.

Although it DOES prove what a cool chord progression it is....
