Right. One thing: Why do absent people always get such honour? I mean, really? The first thing the teacher will ask when taking register is "Are there any absent people here?" The FIRST thing!And if they're absent, they wouldn't be THERE! And they have to be "accounted for" I mean, we only get accounted once, why do they get counted four times? It's not fair.

And another thing: Why does everyone always wait for the bell to go? Go where? Where? Where on Earth is the bell going? And on the intercom "The bell will follow..." Follow who? The bell is always going and following people, but it's always there when you het back the next day!

All you people out there are probably going "NOOO! Not another post about the blady GUI's!". All I've got to offer are my apologies.

You see, I have a probelm, well I've always had a problem but thats beside the point. THE BUTTONS ON MY GUI WILL NOT WORK!.

You're probably thinking to yourself right now "Switch it to RUN SCRIPT!"

Fact is, been there, done that, smelt the cheese. It still does not work.

My Script looks loke this:

AGS Games in Production / Identity:Iceberg

I'm thinking of making a new game called "Identity:Iceberg"
You play a guy called Dave who gets a call from an anonymous caller telling him that the FBI is after him. You then change your name sell your house, beat up a few good guys etc.
Then at the end...

is there any way you can switch between room transition stye? Like say you want to fade out but then for a particular room you want it to be instant? if not maybe an idea for a later version?

I was playing Demo Quest the other day and I THINK i pressed ctrl r/t something like that.

Now all AGS games I play display really squashed up (like 20x200) and I have to set it to run 600x400 for it to display proplerly.

??? Help anyone?

Beginners' Technical Questions / icons

I tried to add icons to my game. I usually make icons in paint at the RIGHT resolution, but the ags said I can't do that.

So then I went to downloading a professional icon maker and created my own icon, which was sort of a copy of the first one, except that it changed depending on whether you have small or large icons selected.  I named it user.ico and placed it in my game's directory (not compiled).

I loaded up my game a pressed [ctrl][T] to run my game, but then ags still gave me the icon error.

I tried this with several icon editors and and the same thing happened. Then I tried on our laptop and the error still came. I tried to download AWicon editor like CJ said, but it didn't run on my pc so I don't know if that is the problem.

please help!

save/load dialog box

I want my whole game to be customized. I've created my own quitbox, I know exactly how to do that. I just wandered if anyone out there knew how to create a customized save/load dialog box. It can be popup like the default one or if anyone knows how to do in a listbox that would be even better! I played that alien rape escape and their save/load dialog box was customized so I know it is possible. (breath!)

So if anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated!
