Don't patronise him, Esper.

Anyway, the Simpsons are kinda dead to me. I don't enjoy it HALF as much I used to, and you just don't get those classic Homer quotes anymore.
South Park, however, I feel has matured a lot over it's 9 seasons of running (next I believe is the 10th season, which will be the last.) Cartman's character has really been defined and the comedy has gone from 'say a bunch of swear words and shock to everybody' to actual genuine comedy which you can see in the latest episodes. I still love season 8 though!

Sonic the Hedgehog

Do you not just HATE the underwater scenarios? Did you not fear everytime you came upon Labyrinth Zone? Did you not amediatly got so wired and stressed by the horrid drowning tune and countdown that your face turned into a fearsome grimace of misery. Drowning in Sonic is the worst way to die.. ever..

Oh GOD 2ma2 don't get me started on those! The water stages were my worst ... countless hour after hour did I used to spend trying to get past them! I can still hear Sonic gasping for breath when I close my eyes ... Arr-ek.

Btw, Zor: You did that in 5 minutes? In MsPaint? Now there's something I won't easily believe!

More like 10 =). What I meant was it was rushed.

The first one is good, although the 2nd matches this character though. I'd also work on making it a bit more comprehensible though.

Brilliant, Neil, but shouldn't the horizon be a straight line, and not curved?

Here's my 5 minute entry:

Done in MSPaint. Rushed :P

Rugby is like THE sport here in South Africa. Everybody plays rugby.

Except for me (I can't stand the sport (then again, I can't stand most sports!)), all my friends and I play Field Hockey.

I think it looks cool. I like the style, good work. Darth's edit is kick-ass, but I think you should carry on with the floor!

Critics' Lounge / Re: Gradient or no gradient?

You need to create a selection in Photoshop to only gradient a certain area.

Well, as they sais in that topic, it could just be a theme for a sprite jam. Try winning one (it's near impossible, I KNOW! =) hehe) and then you can set the topic to whatever you want.

Heh, that's the only reason I watched till the end, Mod!

Grr, that guy really was a bad actor and it really dragged on.

The gradients on the poster look cool, but everywhere else it's kinda detracting. Try using some simple shading styles.

EDIT: I remember seeing in your GiP thread that you said it's really hard to make cylinders in paint. This is not true, so I wipped this up in 5 minutes to show you:

(sorry the colors are screwed, I used M$paint to convert to gif.)

Basically just draw two cylinders, one larger than the other, then draw two more lines connecting them. Color!

See. Really easy!

Oh, I get it now! That sounds brilliant, seriously. I'd love to see this in action. I didn't quite get it the first time.
