I use Anvil Studio as well. It's an excellent choice, Elliot.

Everything to say about this has been said, so I'm going to say this: Google for a tutorial on scales and key, then come back and try and arrange these notes into a key. I promise you no matter how random it is, it'll be listenable!

Wow, that's a fantastic image! Really CMI-esque.

The only thing that's really bugging me is that lens flare/sun. It's kinda detracting from the image.

Well firstly since this is your first game with AGS I'm gonna help you out a bit:

1. Make a practice game first. Read the manual, learn everything there is to know so when it gets to your PROPER game that you want to make, you at least have some tangible knowledge on how the engine works.
2. Plan out everything in advance, create a design document and figure out the puzzles. You don't want to get halfway through and realise you're stuck because you haven't planned everything.
3. Don't type your subject in caps.
4. Try uploading the images to a source like www.2dadventure.com or www.photobucket.com. I doubt people will download a whole zip just to view a few images (especially one that's 4 megs! I know I haven't).
5. Please don't double-post, it's in everyone's best interests!

But aside from that, welcome to the forums and hopefully we can expect some quality games from you in the future!

In my opinion it's a good piece of art, but the thing that bugs me is his chin ... try making it smaller. I also think that the arm that's waving is a wee bit too long!

Oh right ... They sound very similiar though!

How do you get past the boss on the first stage?

Wow, looks great. I love the mountains, they're really beautiful! The character could use some work though, like try removing the double pixels!

I downloaded Half Life 2 through Steam once ... how big is THAT game? 4 Gig? O_o

But then again I have a 64k leased line ... It still counts though, right?

Any length restrictions? I have a vague idea of something I might enter (with summer holidays coming up I should have plenty of time!)

"Miss Greece: Global piece and the fight of third world hunger as well as the cancelation of third world debts!"

I think I'll have a piece of the globe too!

This is my list:

1. Ibanez RG2550E Guitar.
2. Proper Stompbox.
3. A proper amp!
4. A proper keyboard!
5. A laptop.
6. A home recording studio
7. Mics (lots of them)
8. One of those snocream machines so I can sit underneath it ALL day ...

I'm an expensive guy as well ... ;D

I would! I'd love to do those GUIs!

I can do MI2 style, MI3 style, you name it!

And anything else you need, just call me!

Oh, but wait ... do we have to use 2.7 style coding? I'm still using 2.6 ...
#1136
The sound FX were taken from Doom, right?
#1137
Hmmmm ... I don't understand what you mean by 'providing a sample game using the fight engine'?

Do you mean any fight engine, or THE fight engine?

EDIT: Oh, I see ... did you ctrl c that from the other thread and forget to change it?

Finally, I shall claim my spot in the Clubioso of Guitarriosoness!
