If you're not primarily a graphics artist you had better damn become one!
That looks great, hand pixeled as well?
You could make that as your Start Screen.
Good Great Work! :D

You know what? I actually don't know. I never really asked myself what forum people should go to if they have download problems.
I guess then the real answer is to not go to one.  :P

It has nothing to do with how I number my sounds, AGS just plainly refuses to play them.

Err ...  Not for me to say, but wrong forum?

For some reason, if I have a sound set to play in a loop at frame 0, I don't hear anything. I know it worked on an earlier version of AGS, though. Is there a reason why this has changed?

I'm having exactly the same problem! AGS won't compile my sound effects and keeps on saying "Cannot load sound 0."
I don't know if this is AGS or just me, but can someone please answer this one?

No I'm not using a BETA version.

if (interface == 4) {

  if (button == 0) SetMusicVolume(GetSliderValue(4,0));
}

Don't forget your semi-colons and remove one if condition.

short re=0;
while (re<1) { //will repeatedly execute
  MoveCharacter (DUCK, Random(320), Random(200));
  }

I haven't fully tested this out yet so there may be errors. The problem that might come here is you'll need a wait command somewhere, defeating the whole purpose... I dunno.

It seems there's a lot of negativity going on on these forums lately...

There's nothing wrong with reviving topics. The announcement thread is usually a good place to post bugs so you did the right thing :D

CreateTextOverlay, or CreateGraphicOverlay if you prefer to use sprites. See the manual.

Nice BG btw. I don't like the water colors though.

Ah ok sorry. I was probably off all those times he said things like that. Tanker you should be ashamed of yourself.

Tanker should be banned from The AGS Crew, but not #ags. I mean come on?  KOL doesn't even have anything to do with AGS!

Tut tut tut.

Tanker wasn't banned from #ags for what he did in KoL.
He was banned from our KoL channel for that.
The reason for his banning from #ags is his general immature behaviour, and clever statements such as 'up urs'.

Also, getting attacked by other clans is part of the game, Tanker. Get used to it.

I don't remember Tanker ever acting immature in #ags. Okay maybe he was bit n00bified at times, but he never went over the top.

if you do change the filename to .png or something then the editor will simply add a .bmp on the end of it.
So you'll end up with ("scrnshot.png.bmp") when you take the screenshot.
However you can change the 'scrnshot' part to whatever you want.

For the demo games you should make little comical characters who demonstate the demo each time, adding comedy lines. To make it funny. That's the essence of comedy.

I actually play my Stickmen over when I'm bored. It's quite funny. (in the sense that there are so many n00b errors in it still, not in the sense that I'm being vain. It wasn't even supposed to be a comedy.)

I made this very basic java game in which you have to guess a number that the pc has chosen between 1 and 20 in 10 tries. I play it over and over and over again.

I am a sad kid.

Yep ... I will.
